Uub and Burters sexy beyond sexy Training for Spirit Ken Rp
I double posted so you would see this link, Burter and I did two pages over twenty posts....and it was in my opinion a great experience...of course now it's a little different but you now see what you should strive for.

quality over quantity, Burter and I were ok back then with our wording and our insight....plus in my opinion it was harder back then to get the tech....so we rock.

Hatchiyak, length means very little. It's the content, not the size.

That's because the word "grammar" isn't in your vocabulary.

I've read your stuff man and I'm not trying to beat you down but I personally did not find a rythm in your writing, I look for that and I thought it lacked....I'd say just post a few more times and use better diction "word choice" if your not familiar with the word and then ask again for it to be rated.
EDIT: Also man just a helpful hint....I know people like to use color and this revolves around the newer group of members....but honestly it makes it hard to read and gives it a distastful apperance....and honestly I don't feel like changing my background to read someones work.

Dude chill chill...it was intended as a joke there's no need to get pissed off. Anyone who has posted here has tried to be helpful there is no need to get defensive you've not been here that long so I doubt you understand the blue man's humor. So relax and work on your posts.

Again, size doesn't matter.

rythm as in how your words flow together not events but your choice in wording for your descriptions, they should flow and roll off the tounge when the readers read your posts.
09-22-2005, 08:13 PM
trust me if you work on it it shall come to you sooner then you think....if you want read some of my stuff around the boards, I do my best to have my stuff flow and I think I do a pretty damn good job.
09-22-2005, 08:19 PM
no...no not true you want to just continue from where you left off and work something in but take your time and plot it out. You just can't come up with something on a whim, if I do I usually write it down then later come back to it and evaluate it, revamp it, then put it out.
You just need to work on it a little more and put some more effort into it I want to see you improve.

Also, doesn't the training have to span two weeks? Or does the two weeks on the home page merely imply you need to have been on Earth for at least two weeks?

Quote:Originally posted by Bido Exactly my thoughts, to an extent. Some people are so good I read no matter what, but 9 times out of 10 if a roleplay is huge, I'll be like "fuck this shit" and skim it.

Concurred. The only time you should write a long RP is if you are feeling it; I think there is only really one thread where I wrote long RPs and that's only because I was really feeling it.
Oh, and listen to Uub, he is a pretty good storyteller, so his advice could be pretty useful. Along with practically anoybody that will offer to help you, as those who would offer have had mucho experience.
