HF, you know noone ever looks at those things. They'd rather ask and have us tell quote it all over again. Its not like we typed it all out in the first place for a reason or anything.

Bido, fix the size of your sig. Its almost three times the size limit.

Why do we have a main page again Rolleyes A select few of us are the main page Tongue

But I would imagine if people actually took the time to read everything we would not have so many questions that would take up half the Q/S/U front page saying "Today" so check that nifty little link at the top of the screen that says HOME and you'll find it is quite usefull and clear.

Even if these people do not want to look at the main page for the answers, they could at least run a search on threads that might have something to do with their question. But they don't. They ask, and then three days later someone joins and asks five questions (all located on the main page or two threads below theirs), then it happens AGAIN.

I applaud you for keeping your sanity.

But the thing that I find very weird, is that it should be something logical to check the site BEFORE joining or when you have a question. When I first found the site and wanted to join, I checked the rules first. I mean, how the hell do I know what kind of a rules does an RPG have? Also, when I need info, I first check the site then if there is nothing, ask. Also, I cant really get it how people can miss sticked threads.

The stickied thread was created in light of this thread, I believe.

Though, I do agree with jackie; I read the rules before I joined. Though, it took me a little while to get in that I had forgotten some, but sometimes when I am bored I check on the pages to refresh my memory of what it says and to look out for updates. =)

The sticky thread was only indirectly created because of this thread. I checked Bido's sig and was rather shocked at how over the limit it was. That piqued my curiousity. If there were only a couple people who were over the limit, I wouldn't have cared. When I started finding as many as I did, I got annoyed. Making huge sigs just increases the load time for people trying to view a thread.

Well, I was being, for the most part, cynical as I tend to be.

However, Bido, I must point out that noone is directly discussing you (unless I missed someone mentioning you by name) but instead just the general irony of the endless cycle that persists upon the boards Smile So don't take any offense at it. Someone else will be asking this exact question in the next week.

Hes right, Bido. My post was not directed at you. It was to the cycle. Its like people are determined to not check for info.
