I needed to download the newest drivers for my card. I thought it was kind of funny that I needed a newer driver than the actual game.

I don't know about the video card, but I know you can play it with 512 MB RAM. My friend and I play it at his house. He has 512 mb and it plays fine, but the settings are all on low.
