I was thinking of getting an original Xbox. I got a PS2 a few years after the GC's release, and it was fun having a ready repertoire of games.

I had Halo on the PC. It wasn't a bad game, but I don't know what all the fuss was about - I found it fairly generic.

I'm tempted to buy an Xbox because of the live features, it pretty much showed the competition how to take a console online. Then again, I'm tempted to just wait and buy a Revolution Tongue

Aye, but the whole point of the X-box live was that you set up one system and never had to do it again, whereas before it was you set up every game individually. Whilst I would consider myself a 'hardcore' gamer and I often spend time trying out the online features on games, most people just ignore the option. Which is apparent because of how derelict the games are online Sad

The Revolution should make things easier still, if the wifi feature on the DS is anything to go by. It pretty much sets itself up automatically if you have a wireless router.
