I got a Red Octane Ignition 3.0 Dance Pad. Not quite a Turbo-Jesus Action Figure, but almost as good.

I'm more excited about the fact that my mom's finally lifting the restriction on Final Fantasy games. Heck yeah. Lame that I had to wait until age 17, but it hardly matters in the grand scope of things.

Meh, it's better then drooling over Final Fantasy. I admit it's a good game, but it's not the be all and end all of computer games.

I'll admit, I'm a big fan of FF, even if they've dropped the ball as of late. But there are better games out there.

Anyways, I think it's weird that your mom didn't let you play FF games. Did that include like....the old pixelated ones too? Cause if so, you totally missed out on the awesomeness of FFT. The original, not the watered down advanced crap.

Played Final Fantasy Tactics. I hated it. Took WAY too long. I loved Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.

My current list of Final Fantasys in order of preference (greatest to least).

FFX, FF7, FF6, FF9, FF8. Final Fantasy Tactics would come after those five.

Regardless, you guys are certainly entitled to your opinions, just as I?m entitled to mine. I think Final Fantasys are some of the greatest RPGs on the planet. If you don?t like them, then I?m sure you?ve found something to fill that space with.

FFX is, by far, my favorite. That game is just gorgeous. The story is the best. The graphics are the best. The overall atmosphere surpasses even FF7. It's my favorite game of all time, surpassing even Super Mario World and Super Mario All-Stars.

I like seymour on that game. OMG...wow...stupid Yuna...yeah, he was evil, yeah, he had some remarkably huge hands, but did you see that body, omg....Square outdone themselves with that game.

Seymour was awesome, though I can't say I really cared for his bod. He was a gentleman to the end, perfectly convinced in his own sincerity and morality, yet to the last, he was twisted enough to be entirely evil. A fantastic villain, by every right.

yes, I agree.but he believed that he was doing right for the Guado, but that kinda blew up in his face. Wow...I wish i still had a ps2...

If you have action replay, like me. You could use a cheat were you get Seymour in your party. It rules.

I hated Seymour. His pompous "holier-than-thou" attitude made me want to kick him in the nuts repeatedly.

The dude had a cross between a beergut and deformed abs. Not to mention he had those pastey weird vein things all over his body, which made him look like a cocaine addict that confused his crack for ink or something. Not to mention the fact he had that manacure problem, ontop of that.

That was kind of the point. Square doesn't care about realism. Who actually thinks that even Mr. T could handle that insane Buster Sword Cloud has? Certainly not an epileptic pipsqueak.

Seymour wasn't human. That's why he looks different. Case closed.

Quote:You hated it because it took too LONG. My god. I hate RPGs when they're too short, there's no such thing as too long, especially when there's constant class development and shift arounds in the plot line after about every three or four fights.

I thought it was too long and drawn out. I like chess, but I do not like FFT.

Quote:Unlike FFTA, no offense, which presented a more kid-friendly plot and simpler, watered down development system for the age group the GBA was targeting at the time. But hey, FFT was the second FF game I've ever played, so I guess I'm a little biased.

Yup. I like that.

Quote:Of course it's graphics, and mood setting audio are better then FF7. It's the best offline FF ever put out on the PS2, which isn't saying much considering the total lack of competition. There's no way FF7 could beat FF10 in graphics using a PS1 engine.

I think you're trying desperately to make a point, but I don't quite see what it is.

Quote:As for the atmosphere, I thought it was a decent game, better then FF8 or 9, but I've still been a big fan of seven. Although I admit, Blitzball kicked the shit out of any minigames FF7 had....'cept maybe the snowboarding.

I like Seven. But for total believability and plot, FFX wins. For me, at least.

Quote:Personally, I couldn't get into it. It was too easy.

You missed out. It's a fantastic game. Best music out of any Final Fantasy to date.

Speaking along the lines of Video game music, anyone remember Tekken 2 for playstation? If you take the disc and stick it in a cd player, you get this japanese song that is really awesome, it starts out like: 'Asa yoi kami na no rei ko..." so forth and so on. IF anyone knows where I can find this song, please let me know. it is racking my brain like you wouldn't believe.
