Lies. Personally after a while of playing the same game I tend to get tired of it. Which is what happens with Final Fantasys. Then when I try to get back in a month later I can't remember what the hell is going on. Which is why I now have FF8, 9 and 10 all on 'near-completed'.

Doesn't really matter. When I refer to atmosphere, it has nothing to do with the actual graphics of the system. It's got to do with the feeling the game gives you when you think about the story. FFX wins.

And yeah, graphically, FFX pwns. I'm graphically-oriented. I don't care if FF7 could be the l33t n00b ownage if it was redone. It hasn't been redone. I'll stick with FFX, thank you.

If FF7 is really so much better than FFX, it should be able to stick up for itself, instead of needing someone to put everything in "perspective" with assumption and speculation.

No I didn't. I bought it and beat it when I got Anthology and that other one for the PS1. The ports with some extra stuff. I beat it easy and didn't get too into the storyline. I was surprised, since I usually love 2-D games, be them side scrollers or RPGs. I loved FF4, 5, tactics, CT, and the BOF series, but for some reason, FF6 didn't quite hook me like the others.

I've seen two. Most of the clamor I've heard is over Cloud (an epileptic wuss) and Squall (a disturbed, angsty emo). Sephiroth is also heard quite often as well. Regardless, I don't think Seymour's sexy (obviously). I do think he's a great villain, though, actually having three dimensions to his personality, unlike a certain white-haired long-sword pimp we all know and loathe.

Because it was fantastic for its time. Agreed. Just because it was fantastic for its time, though, doesn't mean I'm going to fast for a week out of respect for it. Now, it simply fades away in the light of other, better games. Same thing happened with Pong. Pong was the pimpness back in the day, but who would actually consider staying up all night to play Pong with their friends?

And before someone replies to this saying "Ohmagawd, I would!", shaddap. You seriously need to reassess what you call "fun" if you're willing to play the simplest, most dumbed-down version of ping-pong ever put onto a video screen.

1) Jeice, as for console power, you're wrong. The tech doesn't give anyone an 'unfair advantage'. I think FFVI is the best FF ever, and it was for SNES.

2) Sephiroth is a 1-D character. Flat as a board. Get over it. Ditto with cloud. Hey, I liked FFVII. But that's the truth. =(

3) There never was a GTA4. GTA:VC and GTA:SA -are not- GTA4 and 5. They're stand-alone iterations. GTA4 is an as yet unreleased game.

No, it isn't. VC and SA are prequels, they're not continuations of the series.

The timeline is something like this:

GTA: London 1969 => GTA: VC => GTA: SA => GTA => GTA III => GTA 2

Yes, GTA 2 takes place in the future, therefore it takes place after GTA III. VC takes place in 1986, and SA takes place in 1992 (Not sure, it may be '94, I forget which) GTA and GTA III takes place in the present. GTA 4 is -supposed- to take place after GTA III, but obviously, before 2.

I know VC and SA aren't GTA 4, but I had to point out that little flaw in the argument.
