Day 1 Morning Discussion

I really wish I could write like that, guys. But I can't bring myself to do it. I'm hoping to just power through this barrier and get to the point where my writing is so good, I accept it as it comes. Dunno if that's possible, though. My expectancy might just rise as I get better.

EDIT: I wonder how many of you immediately thought "pregnant" when I wrote that last sentence.

*shrug* I think someday you just hit that spot and it's like 'Eureka!' You are way better than you were the day before, and there is no going back. So I hope you reach you Grecian climax. ^_-

I hope so too. It's actually that vision that keeps me moving forward.

In fact, I know exactly what it is I need to be able to write like that. Perspective. There are two things I realized that, if I possessed, would literally make me the best writer ever. One, the ability to view the world around me in literal 3D. In other words, getting a different physical perspective of things. If I could imagine a front, isometric view of a cardboard box while simultaneously viewing that same cardboard box in a back-corner view, I seriously think my writing talent would skyrocket. It's actually happened once before, and for the few minutes that I kept it in mind, my writing was beautiful. Two, I need the ability to view things as I did while still a child. Somewhere along the way, I grew up, and lost the eyes I had before. I need them back.

Luckily I could easily be characterized as a child. =P I think what I like best about HF is that he is so much like me. In my time on Chubbs, he and I have developed to what we are today, and I feel there are a lot of symmetries between us. This allows me to write through my eyes, except that he has powers that allow him to shoot ki blasts.

This make my writing much better, I feel. Multiple times I have learned something about myself while writing HF's reaction to something--"what would I do?"

Nearly every character is autobiographical, in one way or another. Some are more glaring than others, but everyone pours at least one of their own personal aspects into the character. Even if you create a character that is exactly opposite of you, he's still related to you, since he's essentially a reverse image, and thereby still recognizable. =D

I've always said that Krillin does all of the moving, talking, etc. I just watch him and write down what he does.

SNAP! I just remembered what I've been trying to remember for a while. That little trigger that got me out of my lethargy a while back.

Yeah. It's competitiveness. That little testosterone-driven voice associated with muscle-building that insists you can't stop now. That's what helps me write. When I'm writing alone, it tends to disappear, but when I'm writing with others, it suddenly starts poking me incessantly and makes me write a lot. The best way of writing is to tap into that voice. It worked for my Lord Vine training.

On that note, I write the same way as Krillin. I've often made analogies between my posts and constipation. They take a while to come out, but when I'm done they're pretty solid. XD

But as I said, recently I've somehow been able to write a lot, quite easily. I think it's that competitive voice. Sometimes the quality takes a hit, though, as in the last few posts in my LV training. Those were pretty badly-written, IMO, because I was rushing.

Oh, and as for Buu. He's the polar opposite of me, which is what makes him fun to write. Buu is rash, rude, and doesn't think anything through, though he has the brainpower. If I met him in real life, I would most likely hate him immediately. But since it's an RPG I get to play out all the stupid scenarios my humble self would never do in real life. The only real similarities between me and Buu are our general lack of tolerance for other people XD. Hopefully as Buu starts to get over that, I will too. Or maybe we'll just remain contemptuous bastards forever. Who knows.

Krillin's actually probably the opposite of me too. He's incredibly carefree. Me? I get stressed out at my job: a fish market. Krillin would just laugh it up.

Honestly, I'd like to be a lot like Krillin. Sure, he might be immature, and a little wacky, but he's innocent and probably has no stress.

Plus he can fly. That's always cool.

Trunks is basically me, except his traits are more... amplified than mine. EG. when he talked to HF about giving his life for him, I'd love to think that I'd do the same thing, but if it came down to it, I'm not sure if I would. It's a cool way to write I think, it helps me see perhaps into another reality if I was a little less... meek. >.>

Wow we are talking about characters?

Well hmmm.

Retane.. well... fuck. I dont know. He's deep, but he isn't. He's having troubles understanding some things. He has a distaste for a multitude of things, most which involve that god forsakened sun, but he respects them. He's lived most of his life in a damned cave, what do you expect?

I guess he might could be like me... a weird fucking outlook on life... and loves night time better then day =)

Damn...I can't wait to see if any FKC have switched, though I highly doubt it...this is like a huge fight with possibly a favorite or two going down...especially if some power up are called up. Damn...i can't wait for this to be up FKC v. Goku...

I think Goku is going to do all right at the start the just get overwhelmed and lose...heck he might die.

I say he has a 65% chance of death, and 35% of escaping.

Well, either way it goes, this should be intersting. I don't believe Goku has rp'ed so that may give us an advantage, though if he has, I'm not sure how much. His Ki is strong, I won't deny that, but numbers may come in handy in this situation. It's a close call, I can only hope that I don't end up dead...
