Public Apology to CU

ok, well.

First off, I would like to apologize for calling them all wining little bitches, they are not. If I had been in their shoes, I would have been just as pissed. There was a LOT of misques in all of the things being said and I kept things vague for certain reasons, which I hope will be revealled soon enough.

It was wrong of me to blow up the way I did, I felt like I was being attacked and I lashed back out.

I don't expect forgiveness from any of you, at all, though I would like to try to keep the peace from now on. A lot of things were said that hurt, probably both parties, not just me.

I just want all of CU to know that what had happened happened ONLY because it was a game, not due to anything personal. Though we got into a bit of a rift, i still consider you guys a family and friends, whether or not those feelings are one sided or not, I'm not sure, but something I've known all the while growing up is this. Love is unconditional, even if it's based from one side only.

I'm sorry that things happened the way that they did.

Feel free to post here with your own thoughts or whatever, I placed a mature tag on here so you could give your true feelings and not have to tone them down a lot. I do expect name calling, so don't worry about it, though if staff does deem this unneccessary, then I apologize and you can lock it.

If any flaming comes of me, I would like there to be NO warnings, I feel like there is a time to release stress and if they need to they can, but the in the end, I leave it to the staff, this is there game and their rules.

I'm not sure if you realise why you lost my respect. It's not because of your actions in DA or anything like that. Sure, some of the things you did could have been considered underhanded and mixing OOC and IC too far, but that's not what riled me up. It's the fact that you abused Violet's trust, and then suggested we blame her. She considered you a friend, she trusted you, and you suggested we hate her for your actions. Trusting people isn't a sin, as you seemed to imply.

Really, my annoyance can be summed up in this line:

Mino: you lost an OOC friend for a IC gain?
13: yup
13: oh well.

I'm not normally one to hold grudges. We all make mistakes which we regret later, nobody is exempt from that. But using someone else's friendship like that? I'm not so sure I'll be saying 'we cool', and going for the big public hug. I'll be honest - what you did was bordering on unforgivable. And no, I'm not saying Violet was in the right. I've already talked to her about breaking my trust, and I'm not happy about it. It's not something I'll forgive overnight.

I'd rather have kept this out of public forums, because honestly it doesn't concern the public. They'll read this and have no idea what this is all about, so why involve them? Maybe you thought that apologising in public would make it somehow 'better', but in my opinion this kind of thing should be kept to those it concerns.

That's why I'd rather have kept it off the Asylum. Nobody is going to have any clue what this is about, and really it's not the concern of anyone else. To make it clear, I'm not mad about anything that happened in DA.

Everyone signed up KNOWING that there was a chance of this shit happeneing. We were given a poll to see what we would do.

Sure, it's low but its apart of the game.

Some of those that have a problem with this may as well call themselves hyppocrites on this subject. "To much OOC used IC". Those that said that need to hit the breaks hard on that. Members of Civil Unrest have asked the whereabouts of others have they not? Say no and I'll prove you a lie and start naming names =)

You guys can blame each other all day but it was more then one person. In this DA you make choices. Those choices decide everything. The object is to come out the best you can. You are also suppose to work on character development.



If anyone of you feel mad or upset about this then perhaps this DA wasn't meant for you.

13! For that kick ass strategy, everyone living after that aftermath should thank you for allowing them to get higher in the ranks, know you're there to win, and that be it.

Let me reiterate something here...

Play the game. Take whatever comes your way. RP BETTER THEN THE OTHERS! And have fun. If you lose oh fucking well.

Ask Nappa or Obilu how it feels to be setup/backstabbed. Ask PBK. They took it! And they handled their shit IC. YOU GUYS CANT! So let it go.

What ever OOC quarrels you have, well, if its over DA, which in the end... IT IS! Then drop and talk it out without malice. NO NEED TO GET PISSED! Hell, if you are so pissed at 13.. find him and try to kill him. Unless you can't...

I'd go more in debt but no one will tell me how 13 got your position. But from what SB said it invovled Violet some how.... if she gave out information.. then well... those with Violets travelling pack and Violet and 13 all made choices... that lead to their painful fight

Retane, kindly don't get involved in a topic that you know absolutely nothing about. I'm not at liberty to reveal how our location was discovered. Though it's pretty obvious by now how we were located, I'm still trying to keep the game fun by retaining some of the player's secrets.
