Day Three
Midnight - 6:00 AM
"Wake up from your naps, warriors! I won't be long!
Final twenty, and only three days into it. I'm impressed! Keep up the pace!
The recent deaths, of course:
#20 Yamu
#26 Goten
And instead of adding danger zones, we're going to take them AWAY! That's right, pay CLOSE attention.
The following danger zones are no longer active, starting immediately!
E-5
F-4
F-6
A little opening in that little wall I built for you. Good luck, and remember, keep your danger zone lists in check! Don't want anymore accidents, do we?
Good luck!"

Plucking at the strings and humming along with the tune, Thirteen looked out over the campsite. Reijin seemed to keep himself separated from everyone, including Vegeta. Trunks and the Sayajin King were off to the side, talking away, but it was quieted just enough so the android couldn?t hear it. The jade elder came waltzing across the camp and found a seat near the humanoid, smiling at the droids ability to play music.
?Where?d you learn to play like that?? Kami questioned the machine-hybrid.
Thirteen continued to keep his tune as he swayed back in forth whilst the music seemed to calm his very soul. Though he wasn?t trying to ignore the Namekian, Thirteen didn?t have an answer for him. There was so much about himself that was left unanswered and this was only one of the mysteries. Shrugging to hide his ignorance, the droid closed his eyes and strummed away at the chords. Kami accepted this, he knew better than to invade someone?s life and this android was no different.
Suddenly, the Namekian began to hum along with the tune. Opening his eyes and glancing at the jade warrior, Thirteen smiled. Together the duo began to belt out chord after chord, picking up speed as they went. Standing to his feet, the droid began to stomp his feet to the beat, giving a bit of a bass to the composition that they had going. Following suit, Kami stood up as well and began to clap his hands, though he needed rest, he knew what Thirteen was trying to accomplish.
Together the two men placed a catchy tune into the air, causing even Reijin to turn his head to get a better volume. Both Trunks and Vegeta immediately seized their conversation and looked up as the droid and began to make his way from the Namekian. Bobbing his head to the music as he moved, it was a rather strange sight. Cocking his head to the side, Thirteen finally busted out some lyrics.
Where?d you go? I missed you so. Seems like it?s been forever that you?ve been gone...
Pausing from the lyrics to play a solid mark on the guitar, Thirteen?s smile widened as he turned around and saw that the elder Namekian was swaying slightly to the music. Turning back around, he found Vegeta in his face, which immediately stopped the android from playing anymore music. The sour look on the Sayajin?s face told the droid that he was in no mood to fool around.
?Sorry.? Thirteen spat out, turning away from the King and returning back to his music.
Where?d you go? I missed you so. Seems like it?s been forever that you?ve been gone. Please come back home...
Morning was right around the corner and Thirteen knew that the begging to a new day would only bring upon them more death and destruction.
Please come back home...
Those lyrics hung in the air as Thirteen sung them, for the first time he remembered something that had been locked away for a very long time, he remembered who he really was...

#26, Goten.
For someone with a temper, Bardock was unusually calm about this. The passing of Kakarotto and Gohan had infuriated him, and yet his face did not demonstrate this. In fact, his expression didn?t reveal anything of any kind. It was completely blank.
People who were the loudest suddenly going quiet was never a good thing. Maybe it was lack of sleep. It was a proven fact that lack of sleep killed you faster than lack of food. Bar had gone two days without sleep, and was very prone to psychosis at the moment. And yet, he was relaxed.
The group was once again moving, slowly, to accommodate the pace of their injured.
The saiyan looked at no one. He acted as though none of them even existed. His previous outbursts had estranged him from the party anyway. He didn?t fit in; the black sheep, as it were.
Bardock?s fists were heavy?heavy from all inside that he could not express without fighting. Even now, he was driven to fight, to say all the words he could not, to release all the anger held inside, to rectify all the mistakes he?d made, to keep the promises he sworn. This was what it meant to him to fight. Not being on the battlefield now was going to drive him insane. All of the pent up energy would be unleashed upon the next poor bastard the alliance ran into. And if they didn?t run into anyone soon?
His map, both paper and digital, had been marked in accordance with the relief of the three danger zones. The giant barricade of death had a hole opened up, allowing for more convenient travel. It was a strange move by the host, as it would allow more range of movement and decrease the encounter rate.
Bardock kept his eyes level with their path of destination; avoiding the faces of those he traveled with. He had nothing to say to them, just as he assumed they had nothing to say to him.

"Time to wake up, happy campers!" Kami said with fake enthusiasm. The rest of the unlikely congregation awoke to the Namekian's morning call, with varied results. Both Trunks and Vegeta felt the sagging affects of ascension slip away when they reentered consciousness. Despite Kami's exuberance, his earlier power augmentation to Ultra Namekian still prevented him from transforming, as did Reijin's to Super Saiyan 2. Thirteen was in a similar boat, except worse off; his stomach was still aching, and he prayed that no one punched him there.
"Just five more minutes," Trunks complained, turning over on the grass, using his folded blue jacket as a pillow.
"Get up, son," Vegeta ordered, climbing to his feet. "We're not camping."
Trunks, definitely not being a morning person, rolled his eyes at his father's sternness. In any other circumstance, he would've listened and agreed, especially because of their current predicament. However, grogginess was a terrible thing, and threw Trunks slightly out of character.
"All right, all right," the saiyan prince moaned in compliance, slipping his jacket back on. "I suppose we'd better get moving."
The group saddled their gear, and once everyone was prepared, they started moving out. They all knew they had to keep mobile until they were rejuvenated again. Staying still was not an option for any of them.
Trunks, feeling particularly bold, moved his presence next to Reijin. The pure blood saiyan's composure didn't change in the least as Trunks started talking to him.
"Nice day, huh?" Trunks asked, devoid of any anger or resentment. "Well, for an island where everyone's killing each other."
Reijin smirked. "Of course. Every day is a nice day when you're killing inferiors." He waited for the so very suspected outburst from Trunks, but it didn't come. Slightly perplexed, he stayed silent as the hybrid continued.
"Reijin, let me just say this," Trunks stated, forgoing the small talk. "You know I dislike you--"
"Dislike might be a bit weak," Reijin interrupted.
"However," Trunks spoke, ignoring the saiyan, "I'm not going to let it affect this alliance. Expect no hostility while we are working together. I'm going to honour father's wishes. Of course, if our group gets disbanded from one reason or another, all bets are off."
"You speak as if this is new," Reijin responded carelessly. He shrugged his shoulders. "Anyway, it's not me who has the vendetta."
"Good, then," Trunks stated, concluding his speech. He instantly left his side and moved next to the king of saiyans.
"Father," he said, walking at the front of the pack.
"Hmm?" he responded, keeping his constant survey of the landscape current.
Trunks looked at his feet for a moment, and then reached his hand to his right earlobe. He detached his Potarra earring and clenched it in his hand. "I... want you to hold onto this."
"Onto what?" Vegeta enquired. Trunks opened his hand, revealing the singular ornament. "Any reason?"
Trunks almost blushed before he spoke. "Because... if anything ever happens to me... whether it's on this island, or perhaps somewhere beyond this place... I just want you to have something to... to remember me by." It was incredibly hard for Trunks to offer the Potarra earring. The jewelry became something he used to define himself, to signify the new person he was the instant he was fused. To offer it to anyone was, indeed, a miracle.
Vegeta's stone hard countenance stayed the same. He looked at the mystical earring, evaluating what Trunks said. He smirked for an instant, but as quickly as he did, it faded. Without saying a word, the king of saiyans reached for the earring and took it from his son, storing it in his pocket.
Trunks smiled. He knew his father. Although it was a rare occasion that Vegeta expressed his emotions, Trunks could spot them easily. This was no different. He knew Vegeta missed him as much as he missed Vegeta. They always spent long periods of time apart. At least now, Trunks knew that he would be on the patriach's mind at least a little more often.
#26, Goten.
Trunks had tuned out the flamboyant voice of Karl Jak, but upon hearing the name of his comrade in the list of the fallen, it took him no time to regard it. The halfling sighed and looked away.
Goten... he thought. Finally, we were together again...

After a few more arduous hours of hiking, night had fallen once again over the island, forcing Civil Unrest to make camp among the trees. The general consensus was that it wouldn't do any good to be exhausted if they happened to meet anyone, and that stumbling around in the dark was a good way to get themselves killed.
Kid Buu slept fitfully, his dreams once again haunted by strange, half-remembered voices and a distant star. He was mildly irritated that they had chosen now of all times to come to him, especially when he needed all his wits about him, not focused on something so far distant.
When morning eventually came he was quite ready to continue on. He shouldered up his pack without too much complaint or tired fumbling, pausing briefly to adjust the straps and to glance over his little group.
Their haggard faces told the majin all he needed to know about the contents of their dreams. Except for the young and irrepressible Goku Jr., each member looked like they hadn't had a sound night's sleep.
"Are we going to at least have fucking breakfast?" Super Buu rumbled darkly in a reasonably good imitation of his usual grumpiness. "I want some eggs!"
"And where did you think we would find any eggs?" Seventeen asked groggily, raising an eyebrow at the puttalin monster. "Down at the corner store?"
Super Buu grunted and flicked his head, angling the swollen end of his headtail at the remains of their campfire. There was a brilliant neon pink flash and a sound not unlike electricity crackling through a conduit, and a moment later the fire - wood, ashes and all - had been transformed into a giant, smoking stack of delicious sunny-side up.
"You were saying?" Super Buu smirked. Seventeen could only smile weakly in response.
After breakfast they left camp, leaving a sullen and largely uneaten pile of cooked, stillborn poultry behind them; Super Buu had only remembered after the fact that eggs weren't actually 'that great' (in his own words).
Kid looked down sullenly at the map in his hand and sighed as they went along through the forest, whipping out a pencil from his pack and making amendments to the danger zones as he negotiated the various hazards in his way. Why did Karl Jak, he wondered, have to make the game even more interesting?
They continued on for about an hour before he began to feel it. It started as a slight tremor in his lower set of arms, a quiver that quickly mutated into an uncontrollable shaking that thrummed up and down his extra limbs as if they were guitar wires being struck by an ethereal pick. He wobbled, sucked in a furious breath between his teeth, and unceremoniously collapsed onto the forest floor.
A sharp rock scored a hot line of pain across the stump where his leg should have been, and he bit down furiously against his lower lip to keep from screaming. This damn place...!
"What's the matter?" someone asked urgently, and Buu dimly realized it was that woman, Violet.
He shook his head. "Nothing, ow! I think I just might've been using that trick for too long... I've never done it for more than a day." He sucked in another fortifying breath before relaxing. He allowed the limp, extra limbs to slide with a slurp back into his side. Lovely, he thought.
"Tch. Noob," Super Buu grunted. He reached down and grabbed Kibbles by the head and lifted him bodily off the ground.
Before the child majin knew what was going on, Supes had stuffed him inside of his backpack. Only his arms and head stuck out and could be moved freely, like some hilarious mockery of a papoose. ?What the Hell are you doing?! You can't do this to me!"
"I'm not going to be freakin' held up just because you're a puss, Kibbles," Super said with an angry - but concerned - glance behind him.
"Ah, brotherly love," Seventeen murmured, leaning on Violet as an impromptu crutch. "It's such a beautiful thing."
"I have a gun, and I'm not afraid to use it," Kibbles reminded them as he struggled to get free of the pack, glaring daggers at the whole damn lot of them. Something about the contents of Supes' backpack just didn't feel right at all... Almost - was it - soft and wet?
"Oh yeah? Well you know what I've got?" Supes asked.
"What?" he snarled.
"Eggs."
Kibbles stared at him, and then down where his body vanished into the pack, and suddenly it clicked. "Oh, you sick bastard! You know what you are? You are screwed up in the head! Let me out of here, right now!"

The first full night of sleep did not find the human well.
She tossed and turned, her pillow/supplies sack becoming the victim of many an assault while she slept. Every time her body would cooperate long enough to slip into the realm of dreams, the same thing kept rolling through her mind?the image of her victim as the back of his skull erupted from her precise shot.
When she awoke, she learned her kill?s name. Son Goten. Finally there was a name to the anonymous face. They aren?t really dead, Violet. They come back?just the same as you will should you befall an unfortunate arrow to your skull.
The thought should have been reassuring, but for some reason, it brought her no comfort.
Resigning to herself that she wasn?t meant to get any sort of good sleep, she forced herself into consciousness, taking her position as lookout while the others slept. If anything, it took her mind away from the murder she had committed last night.
Morning came; they ate, and once again, set off for yet another hike to their next destination. A few chuckles lightened the mood, all at Kid?s expense, but other than that, nothing really excited her.
She needed a fight. She craved it. Something to take her attention off the impending doom that inevitably waited for them. It may not be today, maybe not even tomorrow?but soon. Soon?
Without hesitation, she dropped her sack in the dead, matted leaves, and faced the group.
?I want a fight. Now.? She eyed the surprised faces. ?Not to the death, not to injure. Something...just?FIGHT ME!?
Her aura swept up around her body, blood rushing in her veins as the adrenaline surged through her. Eyes narrowing into slick, golden slits, and that dark, deadly mask fell over her face.
?Any takers??
?Whoa?Violet. Calm down.? Seventeen hobbled up to the enraged female, on hand reaching out to her leather clad shoulder. Sweeping away her grape colored hair, it seemed his gentle touch had subdued her, at least momentarily. ?We can?t afford any more injuries or inhibitions in our clan. There are still thirteen fighters out there, just waiting for us to do something stupid, like what you are doing, to move in and kill us all.?
?All I wanted was a little friendly fight, that is all.? She glared at him. There was some truth to his words, she knew it, but it didn?t deter her desire to pound some flesh, in one way or another. ?Perhaps you would be so kind as to-?
?No.? He said simply, firmly. ?I am in no shape to take you on right now. Perhaps after this whole mess is over, but not now, Violet.?
?Are you just simply playing pussy, Seventeen?? She leaned in closer, the fire sparking in her eyes never fading, just growing stronger.
It wasn?t just the atrocity she had done yesterday that had her so enraged. The moment Yamu?s name crossed Karl?s lips over the speakers, something snapped within her heart that could never be mended by simply ?Talking it out?. She was sick and fucking tired of ?Talking? shit out. Why talk with your lips when you can coherently get your point across with a few well placed fists to the jaw, or chest?
She had met the bald titan way back in the BAS tourney; their fight had been something epic. The chemistry Yamu and herself had shared within that square ring was undeniably addicting, and nothing she had encountered since had matched it. Now, though, her hopes of ever encountering him again for another round were gone. He was gone, and with it, a small chunk of her soul. There were so many things left for her to do that involved the fighter, and the disappointment that filled her with a rage that burned white hot.
The need for release was too overwhelming.
Seventeen never answered her. ?My offer still stands. I want a fight. Now.?

Minoshia laid on his back, staring at the stars, the first witnessing of death in the tournament resulted in the Konat thinking over all the afterlife time he had spent. All the months on Snake Way, wandering aimlessly towards King Kai's, and all the months in Hell, training with Dabura. He had noted the high tension in the group the night before, the extreme anger that the larger of the two puttalin warriors showed, and the irrational behavior towards teh raven-haired women, who simply was 'playing the game'.
As the sun rose, and the Prince didn't, he watched the group joking around in their lighthearted manner. There was yet a feeling of seriousness and pent up anger swirling around the group, most notably it was swelling off of Violet, the leather clad female he had seen at the pond.
"Another man dead is just, another man dead." Minoshia spoke out loud, not knowing who had heard him and not really caring either. He saw some of the group looking at him in a curious manner. They probably had no idea of the life after death; the only one who would of known had been Piccolo, the traitor who was really an Android. "And in time, Death will come for us all." Minoshia spoke again, before dropping his black eyes towards the ground, and slowly lifting himself into a vertical position, making his way over to the slain meat and grabbing something to eat quickly, washing it down with some water. Appetite had never been a problem with the young man; simply eating a little gave him fuel for the day. It was good to taste meat again; the fish had been nothing more than mediocre compared to the animal.
The purple haired woman was screaming something about a fight, which immediately intrigued the Konat. But as soon as the topic had come up, she had sought out the Android first, who quickly turned her down.
"My offer still stands. I want a fight. Now." She spoke again, making eye contact with the dark prince. Although she claimed to want simply a friendly training exercise, Minoshia wasn't too sure how sincere the friendly part of the offer was. But then again, he really didn't care either. He was no rookie to angry woman, and he was equally no veteran. He rolled it over in his mind shortly on whether to take up the offer, but knowing which voice was talking back in his head, the decision to battle was almost instantaneous.
The Konat walked slowly towards Violet, whose dark eyes seemed to follow him the whole way. As he passed her, he flared his aura so it was visible, before letting the dark energy die back down to its source.
"Shall we?" Minoshia nodded to the forest.

?Shall we??
A satisfied smirk spread across Violet?s face at the Konat?s acceptance of her offer. Finally, something to break the monotony and liven things up around here; she thought. Straightening her back, arms clasping on front of her, she nodded. ?We shall.?
They lumbered off into the depths of the forest, not too far away from camp, but enough to fulfill their need of privacy while the two squared off. They had found a clearing, barely thirty feet across, but it was enough for what she had in mind.
Before she could turn around to face her opponent, a hard boot to her face knocked her clear back to the edge of the clearing, the Konat?s dark chuckle filled the morning air.
She took a moment to shake her head clear, and ambled to her feet, bounding off a tree trunk and launching herself back at him. Her body launched torpedo like into his midsection, pushing him back into the ground, dirt and grass crumpling up behind him.
Throwing her away, the Konat scrambled to his feet and leapt back at her before Violet had the chance to stop. Hands stretched above him, gathering ki like snowballs and shoving them in her face. She batted them away and returned a few of her own, knocking him back a few meters before snapping back to her own feet.
They stood apart, energy building between them. Bolts of ki webbed between the two warriors before they came back together, meeting each other?s blows punch for punch, kick for kick.
It mattered not that they couldn?t fly, in fact, it made the fight that much more interesting. Finally, the Konat took the upper hand, seeing a space where Violet had so foolishly left herself open. His leg lashed out, sweeping her legs away from under her. The ground rose quickly, her face meeting grass as the Konat stood over her, hands thrusting on his hips.
?And here I thought you were going to give me a challenge.? He said jadedly. He kicked her over so she could look up at his face, he was tired of always seeing the back of the woman?s head. ?So much for that idea.?
He turned to walk away, but Violet had sobered quickly, and launched a surprise of her own at the Konat Prince. He never saw the blast of her Kamehameha coming.

The energy beam crushed into his spinal column, bending his back like a twig under immense weight. Eventually, his body stopped contorting and was forced forward at tremendous speeds. The explosion tore at his skin, launching him further faster. The Prince enjoyed the pain, it made him more focused for some reason, and he felt more alive. The blow dealt upon him had sent him bolting across the sky, his torso out in front; he managed not to twist into a tailspin during his short flight time. Approaching a tall pine, Minoshia lifted his feet, pulling his knees against his chest and letting the balls of his feet catch the bark on the tree. Immediately upon feeling the pressure on his feet, his legs began to churn and he sprinted up the side of the stagnant being, dispersing the force from his body?s velocity throughout the tree. He flipped off suddenly, his body arching high, landing at the midpoint of his path between the collision and the tree. He whirled around, grinning at the woman.
?That?s a little lesson in force displacement.? He snickered as she became frustrated at his mocking. ?See, it hurt, doesn?t get me wrong. But it could of hurt a lot more.? For some reason of another, he actually felt comfortable talking to the raven-haired warrior, and it made him increasingly uncomfortable.
?Don?t think a kid can teach you a thing or two?? He looked at her, he already knew the answer, and it made him upset. The skeptics in this world came in all shapes and sizes, and unfortunately they also came as friends and as enemies, this one had yet to fall on either side of that fence.
?Not in the slightest.? She bolted forward, hurling a fist towards the Konat, who bent his neck and let the fist slide by his head. As the flying set of knuckles began to recoil, the Prince turned his body in the direction the fist had been sent, grabbing her at the wrist as her hand came right back to him. He turned back slightly the way he had came, so he was facing her elbow, and drove his foot into her midsection, holding her hand all the while. Her body flew backwards, shoulder jerking as he held the arm tight and let her body dangle.
Before he could get in another hit she swept her legs as she hung from the grasp of the Konat, knocking his calves out from under him and forcing him to let go. He stumbled backwards, grabbing his shin. It was very uncomfortable, being kicked in the shin. She leapt to her feet and vanished into the air, Minoshia was too distracted to keep track of her, and caught an uppercut on the chin, sending him back in the air, landing on his shoulder blades. As his buttocks hit the ground, he continued with the rolling motion and kicked back up to his feet, wiping himself off.
?I think I should be teaching you a thing or too.? Violet mocked accordingly. The orange haired elite chuckled slightly as they gained separation once more. He began to run on a diagonal between them, eventually disappearing. The women watched as he appeared and disappeared in front of her, getting closer every time. He was moving in diagonals, appearing on the right, then vanishing and composing himself on the left even closer. This pattern continued, and Violet could guess where he would appear, but he was moving at speeds she couldn?t calculate, not yet at least. He began moving faster, rapidly switching between left and right and getting frighteningly closer every time, and then he vanished. He was gone for quite a bit of time. The female began to back up, expecting him to appear at any time now. A flash erupted in front of her, and she could barely make up images of a fist flying towards her face, she lifted both forearms in defense. She didn?t notice with her eyes, but felt a wisp of the Konat?s body disappearing again. A sharp pain stung the back of her neck and she was forced to lean over as he chopped down on her upper spinal column. A last set of knuckles burst into her stomach as he moved again, forcing her onto her knees. The Konat leaned over, getting on one knee. She could feel the humid breathe infiltrating her ear. She could sense the filth nearby, the Dark stench that surrounded him.
?Who is teaching whom?? He mocked in a joking manner. He hopped backwards, almost skipping, and stood cross armed as he waited for her to stand back up, a smile on his face, and not one of anger, one of enjoyment.

"Wake up from your naps, warriors! I won't be long!? The moment that Seventeen heard the voice of Karl Jak he couldn?t help but laugh a few times. Naps? Hell, it the cyborg hadn?t closed his eyes in at least twenty-four hours. He had been far too busy either keeping watch for the others during the last precious hours of Day Two or brooding.
The only tidbit of information that the android really cared about was the fact that over half of the competition was already dead. Of course the notion was a double-edged sword, because the rest of the contenders were no doubt the strongest fighters in the bunch. Letting out another melodramatic sigh, the machine-hybrid peered over his shoulder and noticed that several of his teammates had already awakened.
Goku Junior had been listening intently to the announcing of the danger zones, but for a moment, he turned his attention to the Seventeen. The youth smile faintly?his countenance betraying the vast amount of underlying concern the child was harboring. The cyborg turned away from the youthful saiya-jin in an effort to stave off the boy?s staring. He was never one to enjoy being gawked at, especially because he didn?t like it for such an impressionable kid to see him in such a diminished capacity. Quite frankly, it was overly embarrassing for the android to have to limp around, fighting the urge to yell out in pain every time new waves of pain exploded from his abdominal section.
Nevertheless, Seventeen knew he had to press on?if not for his own good, but for all the others as well. With yet another morose sigh, the machine-hybrid removed his assigned from its location in his satchel. Apparently, Karl had finally realized that the island had quickly become something akin to a rather bland racetrack. Nevertheless, the morning for the group of warriors was just as placid as the many before it.
After some friendly banter, Super Buu decided he needed to upstage the wounded android by transmuting a pile of eggs just to spite Seventeen. The machine-hybrid didn?t mind, and in fact, he enjoyed the random spats that Buu and he shared. With the exception of Sixteen, the towering, elastic golem of pink was probably the closest thing to a friend that the android had?especially with the disappearance of Kirano and the betrayal of Piccolo.
When breakfast came to a conclusion, the group once again packed up their amalgamation of supplies and began on their way once again. For the first few minutes, the journey was quiet and without the slightest signs of any discord. Unfortunately, the silence was shattered immediately when Violet decided to descended into another one of her always convenient emotional outbursts.
?I want a fight?now, ? the woman?s eyes began to frantically scan the group of warriors ahead of her. ?Not to the death, not to injure. Something...just?FIGHT ME!? The purple-haired female began to seethe as her body started to mutate beneath the pressure of her swelling emotions. ?Any takers?? She repeated, her voice notably altered to coincide with the partially demonic visage that she had taken up.
?Whoa, Violet...calm down,? Seventeen limped over to the infuriated female and reached out toward her shoulder to sweep away her trademark hair. ?We can?t afford any more injuries or inhibitions in our clan. There are still thirteen fighters out there, just waiting for us to do something stupid, like what you are doing, to move in and kill us all.?
?All I wanted was a little friendly fight, that is all.? Violet was glaring at Seventeen by this point, her eyes possibly betraying the fact that she blatantly understood what she was doing was selfish. ?Perhaps you would be so kind as to??
?No,? the android stated, his cold, black eyes compensating for the lack of strong, physical poise he would have if he still wasn?t inhibited by the wound in his gut. ?I am in no shape to take you on right now. Perhaps after this whole mess is over, but not now, Violet.?
Are you just simply playing pussy, Seventeen?? The words hurt?there was no denying that, but the machine-hybrid wasn?t just about to indulge Violet just because she had signed up for this game and lost some acquaintances. After all, it had been her decision to enter Dante?s Abyss in the first place. She knew the hell that was awaiting her and yet still dove headfirst into the mayhem. ?My offer still stands. I want a fight?now.?
Seventeen sighed as he walked away from the woman. There was no denying that Violet was a powerful fighter. The cyborg just wished that Dante?s Abyss would have occurred in a time period that didn?t happen to be ?Violet?s time of the month.?

Several relaxed sighs filled the air as the six pack of warriors came to a halt. They had been marching through a good portion of the night, looking for a place to settle in for a few hours and get some rest. Unluckily for them, though, they had not had the good fortune to come across any sort of field or clearing. This meant they would be sleeping amongst the trees, having found a spot where they grew particularly thin. Everyone spread out a little bit to give themselves some space before curling up on the ground. It wasn't the most comfortable camp ground ever, but it certainly could be worse. The ground was soft with moss and dirt and the trees seemed to do a good job of keeping out the otherwise chilling winds. When Radituz caught sight of his father preparing to leap up into a tree, gun in hand, he frowned slightly.
"Hey, pops!" Despite not wanting to wake those who had already fallen asleep, the long-haired saiyan called out to Bardock.
"Eh?"
"Sleep. I'll keep watch."
Bardock eyed his son for a second, then simply shrugged and went to find a suitable place to rest. Rad gave the smallest sigh of relief before leaping into the tree Bardock had been prepared to jump into. The long-haired saiyan wasn't sure how his father would take to being told to rest. There wasn't really much to do with everyone asleep, so Rad spent most of his time staring up at the stars. It had turned out to be a surprisingly clear night. When that grew tiresome, Rad made an overly thorough check of his nail gun. It was a neat little weapon, to be sure, but not all that interesting. He pointed one end at something, and then there were nails in it. Luckily, Rad was not too trigger happy, because he snapped his gun towards someone when he heard some rustling.
"Hey! Watch where you're pointing that thing!"
"Oh... sorry, babe." Rad withdrew his weapon and watched 18 as she took a seat directly under his perch. "Can't sleep?"
"Not tired, I guess."
"Ah."
"What about you? Couldn't sleep?" The android craned her neck to get a view of the saiyan above her.
"Ha. Nah, I can always sleep. The old man needed to get some rest, though. He's been playin' lookout this whole time so far."
"I see. So... what do you do? Just look around?" 18 turned her head to get a view of their campsite.
"Mostly, yeah. I've mostly just been thinkin' 'bout stuff." Rad shrugged, though he was the only one aware of it. "Not much else ta do."
"Wait.. you were thinking?" There was a tone of mock amazement in her voice.
"Ha ha. Yes. I was thinking. I do that... on occasion." Rad could practically hear the grin on 18's face.
"About what?"
"Well..." Rad cleared his throat, suddenly very glad 18 couldn't see the slight hue of red that was creeping into his face. "Nothing, really."
"Oh come on."
"Tch... fine. I was just wondering if... ya know... we'll be... remembered." The saiyan's voice grew increasingly faint as he spoke.
"Remembered? What do you mean?"
"I... just... I dunno. Ok. Here we go. Will anyone remember that we helped out on Vegeta, for example. When there was that big rebellion, will anyone say 'hey, remember with Raditzu and Eighteen fused to fight off the rebels'?" The saiyan gave a small sigh. "Its like I really care... I'm just kind of... ok... what's so funny." Below him, Raditzu could hear a cascade of giggles.
"You're cute."
"Wha?!" This time the android just laughed outright. Raditzu just shook his head.
"In this world, his world, life is just a game you play"

Time was running along at what seemed like a faster than normal pace. The intense days were blurring together, it seemed like only hours ago he had managed to form a team out of a random group of fighters. Now with the announcement of their latest casualty, Goten, they were down to three.
Although their numbers were dwindling they happened upon an opportunity which could not be passed up in forming an alliance with Vegeta and Reijin. And that anoying bastard Sabiman.
The Namekian was resting his mind as they walked along. He allowed himself to relax, the paranoia and the tension slipping away momentarily as he rolled his shoulders back and let out a deep quiet breath.
As his eyes closed and slowly opened he came back into the realization that there was anisland full of people jumping at the chance to take him out. That was motivation enough for him to keep his eyes and ears open to all that was happening around him.
The three sayjins in the group all moved along, although the Berlin wall of body language between Reijin and Trunks was hard to miss. The competitiveness that drove those two was absurd, although it seemed like Trunks was toughening up a bit and not letting Reijin's cold comments get to him. Of course, Kami knew Reijin would claim that his intent all along if confronted about Trunk's lack of instantaeous rage at his first spoken word.
Thirteen and Kami shuffled through the weapons they had. "As much as I'd hate to admit it...I need to get rid of this damn hair brush...the spoon too. Why did I get stuck with the fucking little babies first playset weapons batch?" Thirteen pointed to the ki shield Kami had around his back. The old Namek shrugged his shoulders and kept walking. It wasn't really the time for some sarcastic wit, but then again, he wasn't sure he really cared.

Face to Face
Tapion
"Has he done anything?" Karl asked as he walked into the room. It was about six in the morning, so Karl has to wake up in order to give the announcement.
The soldier who was monitoring the map looked back. "No, Sir. Just sits there."
"Heh, well, we gave him almost six extra hours. I guess that's it." He stepped forward, "Let me sit."
Karl Jak took a seat, flicking the camera to the specified collar. He picked up the megaphone.
"Excuse me for the interuption, contestants. Someone is about to be made an example of. An example of what happens when you bore the viewers."
With that, he pushed the button.
Someone's throat was ripped open by a sudden explosion.
#05 Tapion DEAD
19 Fighters Remaining
The Magnisium Cyanide Acid (Poison) up for grabs in the CU group. If no one can agree, Minoshia gets it by in character relationship, since he's Tap's brother
1 rp in 4 days shouldn't be too much to ask.

"Made an example of? Meaning, dead?"
Twenty nodded. "Probably. Remember, this is all a sick television show. If the guys don't think someone is being interesting, they'll kill 'em."
Krillin was caught in silent thought. He continued to think into his next reply: "You think we're interesting the viewers?"
Twenty paused, also in thought. "Well, ah, I should think."
"Wouldn't it be better to make sure?"
"Sounds like you have something in mind."
-----------------------
"Krillin."
"Hold on, I've got another batch."
"...Krillin."
"A bit more, almost done."
"Dammit Krillin, I ain't letting you do it!"
"C'mon man, it's for the good of our survival! Don't you care if we live or die?"
"So far, my bellybutton has never had to be invaded by leaves to ensure my survival, and I don't quite see why it needs to be now."
"You asked if I had suggestions."
"This isn't a suggestion! This is stupidity!"
"That's entertaining."
Before Twenty could reply, the loudspeakers crackled into life again. "He's right, you know," the disembodied Announcer disembodiedly announced. "You made Ed piss himself."
Krillin pointed at the nearby speaker. "See? I made Ed piss himself."
"Who the hell is Ed?"
"A man who pissed himself."
Twenty was silent, looked at the leaves, then looked back at the speaker. As if on cue, the megaphone once again kicked up. "Seriously guys, for the good of the show. A single leaf tip isn't going to hurt. It's not like he has to jab it in there, it's just got to sit up. Besides, there's a perfectly good hole on your left side."
Twenty closed his eyes and shook his head. "Make it quick."
Krillin did.
"Fuck."

Buu just growled irritably as he watched the purple-haired human go through her token emotional tantrum of the day. He wondered if she?d have an outburst for every single person that died. It went against the very nature of a warrior to be so sensitive to death. You didn?t have to like it, but you had to at least expect it every now and then. Slowly but surely his opinion of her was reverting back to apathy. He sighed in-sync with his alliance leader as Minoshia and Violet headed off to the forest. He was beginning to appreciate the presence of someone as laid back as Seventeen in all this drama.
He strolled over and slapped a large, pink hand down upon the cyborg?s shoulder to get his attention. ?So, how?re you holding up??
The machine-hybrid raised an eyebrow sceptically, as if to question his ally?s sudden change in demeanour. ?Other than the gigantic hole in my stomach, just fine.?
Buu couldn?t help but raise a smile. Even in the most grim scenarios, his leader?s sarcasm remained impregnable. ?You think you?ll still be able to fight??
Seventeen groaned. ?Don?t say you want to fight me as well.?
?Well, I wouldn?t say no to a quick spar ?? said the pink monster, pretending to think to himself. The sour look that emerged on his leader?s face caused him to burst out laughing. ?No, I?m kidding.?
?What?s this?? came a dry voice from Super?s backpack. ?You, not looking for a fight??
?Shut it, Kibbles!? roared Buu, his momentary lapse in insanity snapping like a string. Seeing this, Seventeen allowed himself a quick chuckle.
?So,? began the injured cyborg. ?I never asked ? did you finish your training with Lord Vine??
Supes snapped his fingers suddenly, as if an idea had just popped into his head. ?I forgot completely! I haven?t shown you guys my new power!?
?What is it this time?? quipped Kid Buu sarcastically, still miffed from being dunked in a pile of leftover eggs. ?You learnt to fart the theme to Metroid: Zero Mission??
The taller being frowned. ?Well, I?ve never done it before, but I suppose I could try ??
?No, that?s fine,? said the one-legged majin, waving his hands to illustrate the point. ?What was your new power??
?Allow me to demonstrate.? Placing his pack on the ground, Super Buu allowed his smaller counterpart to hop out. Tapion and Goku Junior looked around to see what was going on, and stopped to watch in earnest. Flicking his headtail at a nearby rock as he had done the preceding day, the rubbery monster fired off a jet of bright pink energy. Like before, the rock quickly took on a shiny hue, and Buu slowly lowered his palms to it. Shutting his eyes, he began to concentrate. His ki flowed out into the rock, and it began to lift up into the air. Gradually it stretched and distorted, twisting into a bizarre shape. His alliance-mates watched, eyes wide.
?You learned telekinesis?!? gasped Kid. ?How the hell? You?re got about as much brainpower as stack of eggs!?
A scowl crossed Super?s face and his hands tightened into fists. With a sound like a bullet being shot that caused everyone to look around in panic, the rock exploded into fragments of metal. His eyes opened and he rounded on his brother, snarling; ?what was that?!?
?Oh shit!? The smaller majin put his hands in front of his face as a large fist raised up above his head. ?He?s gonna tear me to bits, all phoenix-style!?
Seventeen chuckled. ?It?s not telekinesis, is it Buu??
Pulling off his attack, Super grinned wrly. ?Nope.?
The cyborg nodded. ?I?ve seen it done before by a guy at Lord Vine?s palace. I figured he would teach it to you sooner or lat-?
His sentence was interrupted, suddenly, by another violent BANG! from a few meters away.
Just like that, with no warning whatsoever, Tapion fell to the ground, blood pouring from his neck.
