Considering I make roughly $200 a week after taxes, that's not too shabby. Only 5% of my money goes to gas. 12.5% goes in insurance. The rest (82.5%, or around $660 a month) is going into my college fund.

Takes about $30 to fill up my Mazda...but it only takes $20 to fill up the Geo metro....and that thing gets 40 MPG.

I'd rather take the money I would spend accessorising my Honda Civic and put it into a savings account to by a brand new hot sexy car later on as opposed to just dumping my money into a car which I don't need to invest tons of money into. i'm so with Kami on that one. I'd rather save up to purchase a better car than to spend it on the current one. Sure, it's brand spanking new, it'll end up being my wife's car then i'll be getting me a newer one.

BTW, my wife currently drives the 1994 Geo Metro, the three cylinder rocket and I drive the 2005 Mazda3.
