Alliance based RoSaT
#1
First, I'd like to request that all staff members refain from posting here.

I'd like everyone minus those mentioned above to answer and discuss the following questions:

1) How many people should be allowed in the RoSaT at one time?

2) How many training points should be given to each person using the RoSaT?

3) Should this number decrease based on the number of people in the RoSaT at one time?

4) Currently, you have 3 uses of the RoSaT as a member, what do you think is a good number of uses?

No set number, personally. This would allow for fluid uses with an alliance.

2) How many training points should be given to each person using the RoSaT?
Again, no set number. They should only gain what they deserve.

3) Should this number decrease based on the number of people in the RoSaT at one time?
No.

4) Currently, you have 3 uses of the RoSaT as a member, what do you think is a good number of uses?
It's fine.

1) How many people should be allowed in the RoSaT at one time?
I would say two or three mainly because really, an entire group would just be crowded and even though the room is infinite it would seem a bit claustrophobic to me.

2) How many training points should be given to each person using the RoSaT?
I would base it on how well they RPed their training and then get the amount of points they deserve for such.

3) Should this number decrease based on the number of people in the RoSaT at one time?
I believe it should vary, as I said above, based on what each person deserved for their part in it.

4) Currently, you have 3 uses of the RoSaT as a member, what do you think is a good number of uses?
I've yet to use the RoSaT, but three seems reasonable so that way you don't waste the chances you do have when using it.

1) How many people should be allowed in the RoSaT at one time?
- Up to 5.

2) How many training points should be given to each person using the RoSaT?
- 2 weeks worth of training, just like it is.

3) Should this number decrease based on the number of people in the RoSaT at one time?
- No. I think it should be the total accumlative points added then divided amongst the number of members training.

4) Currently, you have 3 uses of the RoSaT as a member, what do you think is a good number of uses?
- 3 seems fine.

1) I don't think there should be a limit. The place has no bounds, so why should two people be restricted to it? So much more character interaction could occur in the RoSaT this way, rather than just two characters, or one.
Or maybe it could be done so that two non-affiliated people can go in at once, max, or an entire alliance would be allowed to enter, not the same number of random members.

2) I say 2 weeks is still fine.

3) No. The number of people shouldn't really have any affect on training. In all honesty, the more people in there, the more training could be done, as there would be more people to train with.

4) 3 is good with me.

No set number. I don't think there's any logical reason to not allow more people in, other than a phobia of people getting points. (Despite the fact that they'll get them anyway)

2) How many training points should be given to each person using the RoSaT?

The current amount seems fine, regardless of the number of people. The ROSAT isn't affected by how many people are there, it is what it is.

3) Should this number decrease based on the number of people in the RoSaT at one time?

See above. It simply doesn't make sense, aside from the ridiculous phobia I reference in question 1.

4) Currently, you have 3 uses of the RoSaT as a member, what do you think is a good number of uses?

Seems fine to me, though I can't say I'd argue to more uses. ^_^

Just for clarification, I informed Koola that I would be posting here. I have not stated an opinion on this matter as a staff member, and have no plan on doing so. This is just me talking as another member.

I think I'm going with the general consensus here. I wouldn't see why there should be a limit. I imagine that they would all have to enter at the same time, but that doesn't pose much of a problem.

2) How many training points should be given to each person using the RoSaT?

It's two weeks worth of training now? That seems pretty bang-on. One could argue that it should be more since a year passes, blah, blah, blah, but that starts to create too much of an advantage.

3) Should this number decrease based on the number of people in the RoSaT at one time?

I don't think so. There aren't any decent IC reasons for that to happen, and having an arbitrary OOC rule would seem... well... stupid.

4) Currently, you have 3 uses of the RoSaT as a member, what do you think is a good number of uses?

I'd stick with three. Most people have only used it once or never so far. Making it three allows for a few opportunities to develop one's character inside the RoSaT, but at the same time, because three is the limit, it encourages the RPer to build more story while inside.
