Some of the things in the Bible do sound a little ridiculous. I believe in god and all that jazz, but some of the things are nearly impossible.


I think Noah did have an ark and all that, but to fit every species on Earth into it is just.....well impossible, frankly. However, I am not ruling it out. God works miracles.

The Old testament proclaims gays and such should be killed, then we made a new testament, which doesn't make these claims. The Bible could be literal, but i believe it to be somewhat clever and a bit mysterious, so no simple fool, like the man who owns that site, can understand it. Like when God heals the blind man and he can see, does he physically see? or does he 'see' the path God has laid out for him, either way Jesus would have healed the man, spiritually or physically. But obviously the moron would only see the literal, physical aspect of the words and make a big fit about how it isn't possible.

i didn't post flaming atheism, or saying the site is awful. Well i kind of did, it just annoys me because of the narrow minded stance he is taking on some matters. And some of the things said here, about the literal aspect of the bible vs. the metaphorical meanings. I applaud the ways of Science, as it is my favorite area of study, Physics and Mathematics especially.

The only thing that angers me about this thread is the title. "God is Dead". If your an atheist you believe there is no God right, so you don't even think God is dead if he never existed. Thus the Title should be deemed inappropriate for both parties.

It's pretty funny that, whilst people are complaining that the site owner portrays his views as fact, some of those people are doing the same thing.

The bottom line is, there's no conclusive evidence either way. You can't say God exists or God doesn't. People that say there's no way God can exist are just as stupid as the people who say God is responsible for creating the world.

For the record, I choose to believe he doesn't exist.

If the bible said, basically, "You guys rock," I'd be surprised, too. The bible probably does say that in one way or another, but I'd still be surrpised.
