Sigh... I said MULTIPLE TIMES that it wasn't something out of spite from Retane, and no one has listened to me yet.

I waited till after the fight between Retane and Olibu had concluded. I don't remember how, but I knew I was nearby. So as soon as the fight concluded, I simply messaged Retane asking the message "Dude, that sucks that you died Where were you at? I think you were near me" and got something like "... E4, why? Was I really that close to you?" By the time he'd sent that, I'd already told Burter that I wanted us to move there, knowing you were probably resting there.

Yea kinda made me wonder, seriously. I thought I was moreso playing with Vegta about getting him to kill everyone, not Reijin. =\

It was the same converation, many people had lol.

But, I didn't do my strategy because I wanted to show I had balls. I did it because it was how my character was. IC only. I coulda backed out fighting and was warned not to. I didn't care if I won or loss.

I Just wanted to read Reatnae in action. =\

Number Two
Minoshia's Poison

Now this was a late strategy based completely on circumstance and determination.

One of the best moments of Dante's Abyss 2006 was when Minoshia turned on Civil Unrest, poisoning Goku Jr and then being caught in a huge explosion that decimated about nine coordinates on the map.

After this is when the "strategy" took place. It was more of a roleplaying strategy, I'd say, then an actual attack. He would base his character around survival and revenge, bringing up some really creative points in the roleplaying.

He made himself a clutch, new clothes, some medicine, just about everything he needed.

Now many people might not even consider this a strategy, but more of a game move. But having been someone who read every single roleplay that Minoshia posted in the game, I think he might have led up to something like this. If he had gotten his hands on the poison before Tap's death, it might have happened sooner.

His character was very "in your face" after he joined Civil Unrest. The way he wrote himself really led up to it.

His writing strategy was a huge part of the game. If I do Best Moments or Best Roleplaying, he'll be there.

Minoshia and his crazy, over-the-top, edge and open roleplays might have made DA the way it ended up being.

I miss Mino being in CU. You never really appreciated what his roleplaying capabilities are until he's gone. I wanted to have more of a clan relationship with him, DA being perhaps the cornerstone of that. I still want to interact more in the future with him, just got to find a chance =)

It was a great strategy, even if it was pretty much accidental. I think it should have been the 1st, but hey, #2 of all the moments in DA 06 was good enough. ^_^ Not to dis Taps, but if he would have been a bit more active, this moment may not have happened.

You need to do best moments, and have Kami impaling me with his mighty sword and then hopping back into OOC land in there somewhere. It was short, but awesome. >.>

Rei's "By Any Means Nessecary" Strategy

Reijin came into this thing knowing that you could not win the game on roleplaying alone. You had to tell a couple lies, use a few people to get far and in the end, be the smarter person.

He did that.

He did it good.

I can't even think of all the things he did strategically, but off the top of my head:

-Got Retane to tell him where Olibu is, and then execute him
-Got 13 to give him the power-up ring and never gave it back
-Led XT, and eventually merged into XTC, leading that alliance too
-Used his shapeshift technique to send distrust in his own alliance

There are times when I look back and think maybe he should have won. That's how close he came to winning. He had a picture perfect strategy and lost by a nail. Some days it was Rad, some days it was Rei. I still teeter on whether it was right or wrong.

I think Raditzu roleplayed better. Much better. I think Reijin played better. Much better.

I don't know if anyone will be able to play such a perfect strategy anymore, now that everybody knows what people are capable of in this game.

Fucking awesome. That's how you win a competition like this - and people should never hold it against you, OOC. I mean, it is just a game. But, at the same time, this is just what you need to do in order to be a champ - lie, betray...that's what DA was supposed to be. Mino and Rei did quite a bit of it.

I just Rped my character like i always do, stuck to his personality, and it worked out for me. I got lucky. Rei, your strategy kicked ass because no one knew what you were doing till it was done and they couldn't do anything to stop it. Badass.

Wow, badass Man, I forgot about how many things I deliberately did.

I do hope noone holds it against me OOC, b/c it was only for the sake of the game. I play a bad character, who will do bad things. His character is also very built around outstrategizing his opponents in tactics.

I have also already realized that for future DA, I have to undertake an alternate tactic for him in order to stay ahead of the game. I'm already planning that out in my head. Reijin always seems to end up in the perfect position to deal with things
