Training at the Lookout
#1
Just as a notification, Buu's gonna be training at the lookout once my next post is up here. Mainly for those two in the ROSAT to acknowledge, but also for continuity if anyone else is passing by or going there.

Whilst I'm on the topic, any feedback on how my training is coming along so far would be super great. I already realised I screwed up with the use of Elizabethan English at the end of the first post ('thy end', as opposed to 'thine end'), but no doubt there's other slipups. This is the first time I've attempted to have a character speak 'Shakespeare Style', so I have to have some leeway Tongue

Good job Buu, I didn't read all of it because I'm a bit pressed for time, but I did read a few posts of it.

I really liked it, especially the part where Buu seemed to be overwhelmed with the power of Spiritken, how his voice *I think* amplified.

There were a couple things I was wondering about. Is Buu good now? And if so, why would he willingly put the child in danger? That's the only part I kinda wondered about.

I liked how you had Zanshin speak in old English, and how he rhymed a few of the things he said.

Quote:"Upon thou dost my hatred lie. For my fathers, and people, and myself - DIE!"

Neat stuff, I hope you do this well in the next stuff that you try.

Zanshin will definitely be appearing in the future. Buu's 'alignment' is still deliberately ambiguous. I liked the somewhat immoral twist at the end because it showed Buu is still willing to take advantage of the good in other people. Basically thanks to the pendulum room, he's better than he was. Probably leaning towards good. But he's still not the nicest person you'll ever meet, and that might even change in the future depending on where my mood swings. Tongue

After learning he'd destroyed Zanshin's planet, Buu constantly held back and couldn't, for some reason, kill him. It got to the point where Zanshin was so obsessed with revenge that he was willing to then kill innocents, which he would never have done before (non-lethal against the mayor's guards). It was only that which made Buu realise he couldn't keep holding back. The boldness of his words at the end was something to do with his new place as the 'Guardian' of absorption, and the planet Puttalin Big Grin
