The Armies
#1
There will be three or four armies, as made by Syntech.

The Dante Forces will consist of soldiers from the Dante Star System, and mercinaries that they have hired through-out the quadrant. They will led by a famous Dante General, who has yet to be named

The Syntech Corp will be the "evil" army, which is pretty much all the badasses that Syntech could find. Their the guys who just want to fuck things up.

The "normal" army is gonna be called The United. They are just the good guys or the guys that don't really have much a reason to be there other then they want to fight and win.

And if we have a fourth, it'll be The Outcasted, which is a mix between the evil and good forces. Basically the "Other White Meat"

[20:09:13] Rebinator: gotta figure what I want to do in terms of numbers
[20:09:19] Rebinator: assuming we have 44 players
[20:09:23] Goku: Randomizer?
[20:09:24] Rebinator: which is 11 characters per side
[20:09:40] Rebinator: well, I mean how many soldiers per side? 2000?
[20:09:52] Rebinator: and then have 2000 scattered around the neutral bases which are up for grabs
[20:09:58] Goku: 2000 basic troops sounds like a good starting point
[20:10:24] Rebinator: assuming all 11 characters get 100, that's 900 to spare
[20:10:26] Rebinator: which is good
[20:11:10] Rebinator: maybe if I have 48 characters, I can put 4 in charge of the armies themselves

Are you going to have the 44 players split up evenly (and by evenly I mean ki)?

I also, for once, would like to see typical duos (Krillin and Twenty, etc.) ACTUALLY split up and stay split up. Maybe have some sort of polarity in the collars that prevents them from getting too close to each other, or boom?

I'm not gonna force them apart, but I will encourage it as much as possible.

And yea, evenly.

The forcing people apart thing. But if you're not going to do it then its all good.

Oh, no.

But I've got no trouble encouraging people to not turn it into the same pairs and alliances

It was just a suggestion. But you might as well not even put them in different armies. No matter how much you "encourage" variety, how often does it actually happen?

Furiza is leading Syntech's army.

Sweet. I'll find a couple people for the others later on down the line.

Me and Kakarot are thinking 2000 soldiers per army, and then 3000 in the neutral territories up for grabs. Fair?

Also, one real life day = one game day

Sounds fine. Are we going to allocate specific positions to PCs? As in, ranks?

Any PC can start out as a general or just a soldier. The Commander is welcome to demote or promote them as they see fit.

However, a unit MUST have a PC in it to move. Out of character, the PC will still control and move the unit even if their character isn't in charge of it IC.
