Not only that but its been confirmed for a couple of months that the two villains will be Venom and the Sandman. O_o

Topher Grace will play The Sandman. That guy from That 70s Show.

I know I know, but there was some controversy over Venom being in Spider Man 3 a little awhile ago, just wanted to let everyone know. =P

Topher Grace is Eddie Brock AKA Venom

Thomas Haden Church (from Wings) is playing Sandman.

James Franco is playing The Green Goblin 2 in the beginning and ending of the film.

There are many rumors surroundings Bruce Campbell as Mysterio, which would be awesome.

Topher Grace as Eddie Brock? It would have been better to have no Venom at all. =/

Mysterio would be kickass.

EDIT: actually, no... Grace will only be Brock, Venom will be a CGI fest anyway. So were good. =)

We've already discussed this. Topher Grace has said himself along with the director that he will be Eddie Brock throughout most of the film, and not become Venom until about the last ten minutes. This movie isn't about Venom, its about the black suit Spidey. It just leads into Venom. I mean, Pheonix wasn't "the badguy" in X2 just b/c she showed up at the very very very end, was she? Nope, just a lead in.
