Sub-Mariner would destroy Aquaman. Hands down. Aquaman has no superhuman strengths, he just controls the seas. Namor is as strong as The Hulk in the water, with the same abilities.

I mean in comparison. Namor is basically the Superman of the ocean. The only advantage he'd have would be his communication with animals, which Namor does as well. It would be a lame fight.

In the comics he actually ran he turned into a being of pure energy, went back in time, and sparked his own creation by becoming the lightning bolt that gave him powers. Freaky stuff.
