William vs Max

Who is more out-of-line/annoying and deserves more warnings?

There is a dispute that perhaps William is being treated better then Max, where I disagree. I believe that both have been given the same treatment.

For reference, Max is Dracula and William is Frieza

You don't have to post your vote if you don't want to. No flaming (repeat: NO FLAMING) but mature input is okay.

I've told both people involved I'm doing this.

ok i've only been here almost three months, so my opinion my not be as valid as others.

but i think Frieza gets away with and is far more out of line than DM

DM takes his ideas to far, and fights until he gets banned for what he believes if right. (sometimes twice)

Frieza is constantly in the asylum doing something warnable, i've not seem one thread where he's been involved in an argument, or just posts something that has nothing to do with the subject..... he's basically a walking fight


DM has been danned three times since i've been here, and has collected more than a handful of warnings, for things like sigs and speaking his mind on subjects.
I think that some of the things DM has been warned/banned for have been petty things, and most of them have been provoked. But frieza on the other hand can post almost whatever he wants in the asylum without harm.

I can't decide. They're both pretty bad, albeit in completely different ways. DM frets too much (constantly changing his mind, character image, alliance name, moves, etc), whereas Frieza frets too little (he doesn't give two shits if he seriously upsets/offends people, though this is probably partially because the staff don't seem to either). Opposite extremes to the same effect.

If this is too much, you can edit it out.

I dont have a problem with either. Me and William even talk sometimes. Just, Drac is a n00b. That's his excuse. William doesnt have one. =/

Considering I haven't actually interacted with William's activities in like a month, I like to hope I'm not being considered as giving him "lee-way". I haven't really talked with William on the public boards in a month or so.

Considering I wanted to implement a vote, I went with DM.

Will's got hte experiance, and he does know when to call it quit's regarding staff offences and warnings.

Max, how ever, doesn't. He'll push and push untill breaking point on the staff, and they end up telling him to piss off, and ban him.

Both are equally annoying, but I understand Will somehow and know that he does that out coz he knows he can do it, and stops at the first sign of staff warning.

So DM's got my vote. Regardless of if he wants it to count or not.

As Super Buu said, their issues aren't parallel, so I had issues placing a vote. Dracula Man is far too stubborn, and can not/will not take no for an answer. Some people might see that as a virtue, but I think it is misplaced.

Fuz is a jerk. My favorite jerk I've ever met, but still a jerk.

Both of them are in the wrong. Saying which one is more in the wrong seems a bit silly to me.

OK, I can honestly say what he said here about me is true. I do tend to stress the small things a little too excessively.

But do you notice that I HAVE been trying to be a bit more diplomatic about my opinions?

Yeah, but to be frank, a bit more isn't enough. You need to seriously take a look and see if people really have treated you unfairly, or whether it's your own fretting and paranoia that caused it in the first place. The fact that you're trying counts for something, I guess, since Will is pretty sure he's in the right. It's never impossible to make a complete turnaround and start gaining respect, as long as you try, but you're gonna have to try harder.

Will doesn't discriminate when he insults. He'll tell you like it is in a way meant to harm your ego, but he knows when to stop. Max, since my return, has been the heart of several debates in the Asylum, in the Q/S/U boards, in the RPG Discussion boards (for rash IC reasons). My vote goes against Max.

Will seems to do it in fun, where as you do it trying to get them to change their minds. Will knows when to stop, and has on countless occasions, you continue to bug them about the same issues.

Yes, he does stop. But he never REALLY stops. Why anyone would "love" him for that, I cannot piece together. I would think people would admire someone who stands up for the underdogs and actually tries to make positive change in an RPG over one who seems to enjoy encouraging negative behavior.

Oh well. Everyone is entitled to their opinions.

He makes valid points. He doesnt know when to quit, he just knows how to skirt around a warning. In doing so, he encourages other members into confrontation and perpetuates a negative vibe.

So far i've seen in most people discriptions of frieza, he does whatever he wants and stops when he wants because he knows he can?

if thats true, i don't think thats right all. In my mind thats just means he has his own set of rules, or he doesn't have to abide by the same rulse of everyone else.
