Tribute to Pinchy
#21
Well I plan on getting my mage and priest to 60 definetly, with my bf. When I play after school I'll probably work on my hunter, I'm getting into it.

On my UK account, my main character has a pet called Pinchy, after McGrabbem. Except mine's a scorpion, not a crab Tongue

Not if you are on a PVP server, Broli.

No. It still ends.

=(
^ Truth. I had loads of fun at AV, but it's not the same. I just gave up after a while. I might buy the expansion and start a new character, but I'm probably not returning to WoW anytime soon unless they deliver on the pre-release promise of cross-continental playing.

The problem with 60 pvp is that it is mostly a grind fest. Whoever has the best rank and pvp gear is the guy who's spent twelve hours a day doing PVP.

The Burning Crusade will change that with a new honor point system, so that'll be great.

Personally, I'm working on leveling a rogue to 29 and twinking him out.

Rogues are awesome. I hated them until I got my Shaman to 60, then I randomly made a Rogue alt for fun. Eventually got them to level ~57, which is my only other character anywhere near 60.

All frozen at the moment, though, and have been for months.

It's an online game, but you have to pay to play.

Not really, you don't HAVE to pay, only to play on the big servers. You can do a free run at these types of servers:

They don't have ALL the features, and some are a bit ..weird, but most are okay...

I'd advise against playing on unofficial servers.

If you have a job, one year is like one paycheck. 15 a month isn't that much.

Wasn't it Pinchy McGrabbem?

Pinchy McGrabbem wouldn't fit.

I just called my scorpion Pinchy. Sucks I couldn't have the full name. That would have been, as they say, 'jokes'.

I swear to god..

I need to focus on playing these online games more. I'm on FF11, but.. Kinda.. Stopped playing it due to sheer lazyness.

It's also chewing up more space on ym hard drive then I care to count.. So I might need to remove it.

WoW chew up as much space? >.>

I'd rather play Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory ANY day, however. Xbox version of course.

Speaking of which, I'm gonna be at a Halo party tomorrow.

Got X-Box live yet? We actually could play some SC: Chaos Theory.

Gots me a lvl 22 mage on Khadgar. Name of Torchbob. Couldn't fit Bearer in there too, sadly. If you have any clue what the name means, you're officially a geek.

Oooh...Kinky.

Anyway, so like, as I told Broli, I'm on a jouney. If any of you play WoW and know well you'll understand xD.

My Orc Hunter is level 11, and I am in Swamp of Sorrows right now. The mobs here are around level 38, and soon I'll be in Alliance territory.

Why?

I want a Snow Leopard, and they only spawn in one of the alliance starter areas. Haha, I'm slowly making my way into enemy grounds. Sadly the time to raise after dying is going up each time I die, so I need entertainment everytime I die =P. This area is a pain in the butt.

The leopard is 1.5 DPS, Echeyakee is 2.0. Besides, how many people can say they have an alliance mob as a pet? haha.

WoW looks to complicated. Too many buttons. And I don't think I could forgive myself if I got hooked on some MMORPG.

I like regular old WC3 better. Your hero's only gonna have (more or less) six different things they can do - their four spells, attack, and run like hell. "Shit! TP! TP!"

WC3 and WoW are both totally awesome, but incomparable (aside from the familiar graphics and humour, both of which I love). Just like, yeah, I consider the game 'beaten' at 60 on WoW. Still more expansive and long-lasting than just about any other game, though.
