Some of my favorite roleplays on the site are right here. I just wanted to post this, maybe to brag I guess, and to show people who haven't seen them.

I'm really not trying to enflate my ego, I was just re-reading it after HF reminded me in the FoF Discussion thread, and thought I'd show people who never saw them

Ripples filled the sky. Earthquakes filled the ground. Power surged through the scarred bodies of the warriors. There was no more dramatic quotes. No lightning flashes. No rain dropping. The two commenced to kick the shit out of each other.

My favorite quote. HF should find one of his quotes and post it. These roleplays are so good, I'm glad I looked them up

I actually remember the 'no rain dropping' part a lot, 'cause whenever I am about to write a fight scene, using rain always come up, but that quote makes me reconsider it, 'cause no rain can be more dramatic the way you phrased that.

One of my favourites would be this one:

The rage that was caused by the saiyain warrior was one in which caused the ground to tremble. The heavens to quake. The Dragon Ball to give life to a dormant power.

That's from my powering up post.

From the final post for the fight, I'd have to say this one is also favourite for me:

Her legs walked towards his limp body and her arms reached down. Her fingers made sly movements before grabbing his raven hair. She looked down to look him in the eye. He showed slight signs of life by a twitching of his eyebrows. "Any last words?" She looked at him for a moment. Her other hand began glowing, illuminated by the blood that was caused earlier. The afflictions throughout her body were aching, but this about to end. She was about to attain yet another Dragon Ball.

A pulsating light was seen for a mere second before a gurgled scream was emitted. Blood drained down to the ground that already contained so much crimson by now. The shaft that was stuck down Mina's throat was being twisted and turned as her life slipped away from her; for death to take. "Yea. Choke on that, bitch."

"Yea. Choke on that, bitch" is probably the most badass thing, considering the circumstance, that my character has ever said.

That last quote doesn't work unless you show the part where she says "any last words"

Yeah, there was a lot of good writing during the Takeover Saga: The Search Is On! It was horribly slow and dull, but some of the writing was top notch. The ones on Vegeta-sei were probably some of the best, as that's where I think HF has done his best writing ever.

Of course, the writing on Mercy-sei was also good as well =D

In an explosion of energy, Broli?s hair lifted from his shoulders, bursting into a golden hue. For a mere second? everything stopped. The lightning, the wind, the aura, the light? All of it faded away. The air itself was deaf, the mere moments of pure peace seeming to last for an eternity. And then, as if by a detonation, a blinding golden light tore from the very soul of the Saiya-Jin, consuming the palace, the city, and all...

From when I went SSJ for the first time. Still inspires me to this day.
