Ok, so I'm super hungry. I run about a mile to the Subway just outside college. It's about 9:45, and I'm like, "Yeah, they're probably still open." I get there and "HAHA WE'RE NOT OPEN!"

"Crap", I say. So I'm still hungry, wet, and tired from running all the way to Subway. So I see the Houghton Mini-Mart. "Cool", I think. "Maybe they'll have Twizzlers. Or something."

So I go in there, find a thing of black licorice, and buy it. "Probably just like Twizzlers," I think.

Wrong-o. Not at all like Twizzlers.

So I have a bag of black licorice that I absolutely loathe, and I'm still hungry. And that, ladies and gents, is why I'm sad.

Apparently he lives in a small town, possibly in New York, which is basically rural, where the college, which might have 1200, has more residents than the rest of the town.
