That I played the Wii.

And it was good.

What was weird, however, was that it had 4 extra buttons surrounding the 'A' button. Apparently they had made 'last minute adjustments'. I have little doubt that this was my dream version of the Wii controller, as my single complaint with it has always been that they should add some more buttons. They weren't the kidney bean-esque (like the GC controller's X/Y) buttons I had envisioned, though. They were like triangles.

I think I played Wii Sports, and the paper aeroplane thing. It was weird, but awesome. Felt like I got a preview of the real thing.

Random, but yeah. I need to go pre-order now.

I got my Wii pre-ordered today. They're going to ring me once they have all the launch details (and titles) so they can confirm I'm getting a copy and discuss bundles. <3

Zelda's a definite. I also really want Far Cry Vengeance, which looks awesome. Red Steel is a maybe, but if I already have an FPS, I might be inclined to go for Marvel: Ultimate Alliance instead.

Anyone else getting a Wii at launch?

Probably not at launch, but for sure sometime in the future, only thing I'd buy at launch is PS3, and even thats not for sure.

The manager guy I discussed my pre-order with has played the Wii at a 'training session' thing. Son of a bitch ... he said Zelda is without a doubt the best. On which topic I wonder who's buying a Wii and not Zelda? XD

None of the stores here have Wiis yet. =(

Naw. There are other games I'd much rather have, like Monkey Ball, but won't be getting. I'll probably get Wario Ware later on, because I love that series.

Meta Knight has always been a fuckin' badass. I'm glad he's finally got some recognition.

Oh, and I'm probably going to cancel my store order and wait on Amazon, so I can get it guaranteed. They aren't starting their pre-orders until the 21st, so I can get in at midnight hopefully. They say you should get it on launch day, too, if you order first class. Which is sweet.

It's insane at how many want the PS3, I heard from my mom that someone shot some guy for cutting in a waiting line for the PS3. Two people died, it's seriously fucked up.

I found a great guide for "I didn't pre-order but I still want a Wii" which I forwarded to PD. Basically, lots of stores will still be selling them, and won't have taken pre-orders past a certain percentage of their stock. Toys R Us is your best bet, but I also hear Target, Best Buy and Wal-Mart will also do it. Just get there early. >_>

Thanks, but my mother will probably shop after Thanksgiving, it's when the Christmas specials start. >_< She'd be insane to try though.
