While I don't mind supporting it, from my perspective I don't think that we should reward people in this game for their activity in a different game with things like that.

I don't like it because not many people are in the clan and you need to buy it. If it were freeware off of the internet, I'd be more loos eon this, but it's not.
You can give rewards from yourself, of course.

If it were, say, Gunbound or something, it might be cool. For those of us who don't have the money to buy the game we're a little left out.

And for those of us who don't play either one of them, it pretty much fucks us. It was a good suggestion, but too many holes. Unless ofcourse we compensate for giving us tp or zeni for going to work for 10-12 hours a day, then we can work something out.

Come up with some examples of what would be rewarded. Like Rei said, I don't mind supporting it, but its not going to be something like "zomg i killde teh skelly i gte tpz!!11!"

I just don't feel that we should reward people for playing something not related to CDBZ. We don't even give TP bonuses for Big Brother and such. If I remember correctly, its just bragging rights and such.

Custom title, LoD medal in roster? is about as far as I would go and I play it.

I like the idea of rewarding people for doing something as a community. I feel it very much relates to chubbs since its... ya know... a chubbs clan.
Also, I don't think a reward of 100 zeni or 5 TP or something like that is really going to tip the scales in anyone's favor. The clan could do something like a "Reward Game" where, if someone meet a requirement set by the admins, they get a small prize. I think it would be kind of cool. ![]() "It's on my brain, driving me insane. It's on my mind, all of the time, and if it left... I would be fine."

Shit, I can see it now. Everyone on Chubbs will soon be required to purchase Diablo and D2 / LoD.

Why would it be required? Its not like you haven't already invested the money in the RPG. Its not like anything definite has been said either. I want to see what Bebi had in mind before saying anything for sure. Reijin said he didn't really mind, but saw some flawed logic in rewarding people. I agree, to an extent, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to listen to what ideas Bebi had. ![]() "It's on my brain, driving me insane. It's on my mind, all of the time, and if it left... Were you being serious, or was that sarcasm?

Just a small bit of feedback:
Rildo's idea of keystones could, as far fetched as it sounds, lead in to some training. Like for the new 'kenesis skills. A minor idea, doubt it'll be implemented.

Quote:Originally posted by Bebi That's why I suggested that rewards only be attainable through a clan game in which you, yourself are present. People wouldn't be able to just take a screen of some item and say they get the reward. In addition, we can also not tell people what they need to do to ge the reward. Just say "this game is rewarded" and they can hope they do what they need to do. What about something like... completing a set? Or... I don't know... making a Runeword. Or something like that. ![]() "It's on my brain, driving me insane. It's on my mind, all of the time, and if it left... I would be fine."

I would be against TP/zeni rewards. Whilst I do have D2 and the expansion, I don't think people that play lots of D2 should then be rewarded in the RPG. No offense Bebi, it was a cool idea, but I don't think it would make sense. Besides that I'd like to play other games with other people, like WoW and so on. Just keep rewards in the RPG related to roleplaying. Though, if it was just going to be an item like a trophy or medal on your roster that didn't do anything IC, I wouldn't mind at all. 8)

You guys make it seem like everyone is suddenly going to be uber powerful or ridiculously rich if we do this. Look at this format for a reward game:
-Once a month -Only Bebi would know what the reward is -Members can only get a reward by doing something during that game -Rewards would not be easily attainable You've played D2, Super Buu, so tell me. What would the odds be of completing an entire set during the course of a two hour clan game? If with everyone working together to finish it. ![]() "It's on my brain, driving me insane. Like I said, I wouldn't be against medal or trophy rewards. Those would actually make more sense and would show your achievement permanently. But it wouldn't make IC sense to get extra TP and zeni for playing D2. There's already a lot of interest and activity in the D2 Chubbs clan - why add in meagre RPG rewards when the idea behind it is to play for fun? This sounds just like a way to get people to play more D2, as opposed to other games that people enjoy whilst not on Chubbs. There's also the problem that people without D2 will be left out. That's just my opinion, don't take offense at it.
