I want to know right now who freaking made a deal with United to pay 10,000 zeni for Syntech Village.
Right now.
I'm so pissed off right now I can't even put into words the frustration I'm feeling. You won't be kicked out of Dante, but I seriously want to know who did it. You in NO way had authority to make any deals over KV or I. I was near the end of making a deal where we'd either get the village for free or extremely cheaper than what we're paying, and so I want to know immediately who's responsible for this.

She simply offered what she knew they would eventually bring the price to. You have to look at things from her logic; a strategist who does anything to lead her team to win.

I spend four days entrenched in negotiations to get the village for a good price, and it's basically pointless because the NPC does her own thing anyway?
Geez, what's the point of even sending the Commander a message then?

Not all NPCs are compeltely obediant.
Joy sent you messages to inform you of what she's doing, not to ask permission or advice. Whereas other NPCs may ask permission at every corner

No seriously, I understand Burt's reasoning with what he did. It's fine, we'll just split the bill up, Broli-poo.
Secondly, it might be a good idea to bump Joy down a rank just in situations like this, or to infact just overall be more careful when sending messages her way.

I don't mind. I'm kinda glad to see the NPC do things her way. They aren't pawns, they are people.
