My theory!

We cannot stray from the absolute defensive stance. I think we should fortify our boarders with Cities (rad village) and fortress's, then return inwards. We make fortress's at each square we own, besides the places where we have villages. At the villages we make cities.

A team that wants to attack us will take SO many casualties when fighting against so many fortress's by the time they get to our main army, they will be weakened substantially. If we stick to this defensive stance, and not faulter, we can coax the enemy into attacking us. Altogher falling back from fortress to fortress, lowering their army while only loosing guards.

If we can get a team to attack us in this untimate defense, and they fail like i think they would. We can slowing push our boarders further out. Sending one wave of units to build the forts, and a unit behind them to upgrade them.

Defense is the way to go boys, and i feel that if we stick with a good defensive stance we will come out victorious.

I was thinking of that.

Yeah, the whole Russian defense is good. They used it against Napoleon, and then Hitler. Since their nation was so big, they simply allowed the armies into their land, and then let the climate and weather destroy them. Also, for good measures they burned down every city, so the opposing force couldn't use the resources.

Anyway, yeah, not a bad idea.

I think that if we capitalize on the slowness of everything that is going on right now, and get our units in place we can get up muliple forts in three days. If we can get forts up, we can just sit back and wait for an attacker.

basically just on big United spider, sitting on its massive web of fortress's.

EDIT: just took a look at our map, and if we leave now. We could have two forts, a fortress, and a city built in 5 days. this is including the one day to move to the locations.
