?Alright boys,? the Commander began, his men standing at full attention. His Lieutenants Reijin and Akane stood at his sides, as well as his Co-Commander Vejita. The four of them looked on emotionless at their army, fully formed row by row. ?The final days are coming. United is playing the defensive card, leaving us to attack them. Once we step into their lands, there will be no turning back.?

Broli took a deep breath. ?Because of the need to push all of you to the very brink of your strengths, there is only one thing we?ve yet to do before we begin the final engagement.? The soldiers stood quiet, curious as to what their Commander was getting to. ?Do you all recall the feast we held at Heartforged Keep?? Broli watched their nods. ?And the excited welcoming we received at Saiya-Jin Village?? Another nod. ?I told you all that that would be the final time for us to relax, to enjoy ourselves.?

The officers couldn?t help but smile as Broli folded his arms. ?I lied.?

With these words, cheers erupted from the soldiers. One in particular threw up his fist, ?Get the grills goin? and the drinks flowin?!?

Broli couldn?t help but laugh. His men needed this. Even more importantly, him and his officers needed it too. Within minutes of the camp being set, the barbeque began. A tasty array of meats lay ready to be devoured at each man and woman?s desire. ?Make sure there?s no alcohol in the camp. Also, I want each soldier to have their weapon at their side. We?ll be moving out sooner than they think,? Broli whispered to one of his officers.

It was the last hoorah before the storm.
