Does Loch sound Male or Female?

To be honest I loved that name Locke, but of course I couldn't use it, so I took Loch from Lochrie and used it on SH.

Now I'm making a male bloodelf and my bf is going to be female. Many times my name has been mistaken for male on FFXI, so I'm thinking I could pull it off.
