So have any of you been in a long term relationship where you actually talk about marriage, kids, and the future?
My boyfriend and I have talked about it a lot, especially after my first visit. It really makes me happy to disscuss what could happen. However, unlike myself, he's a realist. I like to dream, and always will dream. We would say "If we get married," or "If we move in together," so I just nod and sigh, hoping that some day it will happen. Distance really means nothing, because we've seen each other twice now and feel as if we've known each other forever.
Well today he just said for the first time, "When we get married and have kids,". I missed it, and he pointed it out and logged before I could say anything (obviously to tease me).
I'm so happy right now, some of you may not care, but really some of you are the only friends I have. I want to share my good news.

I am currently in a relationship like that too and I know exactly how you feel. I can't even put into words how she makes me feel but I just wanted to say that I know what you're talking about. And although I don't really know you lol I'm glad that your relationship is going well and I'll be waiting for that thread when you tell us all your getting married. :]

I'm not sure where we would do it, either way it'd be expensive for family to attend.

Yeah, that's awesome. Finding that one person you feel like you could spend forever with and have children must be a wonderful feeling.
