Uhm...so these will be given after the reset? I hope we have an option to choose to submit our things so we can choose not to receive any. I've RPed and I'll continue to RP, but I don't want any stat reward afterwards. None. o_o

Uhm, well...yeah, whatever, just my small rant...

Please read the thread before posting:

You will have options.

And of course staff isn't going to FORCE you to take them. Sheesh. Tongue

Actually that was a rethorical question...I meant that it seems to me that it is definitely not the right way to go...but y'know...just my 2 cts. =\

Does spiritken count towards quests? I know it's not a technique... so yeah. just wondering.

Spiritken isn't a quest, although, if you trained and got it within the time Rad specified you might be able to keep it. IDK though, that's just based off what I am understanding.

It's a power up I know. No power ups are going to be carried over after the reset. But I was wondering what I should count it as.

That has nothing to do with the topic at hand, but I'll answer it.

The old canons will still be around the universe somewhere, yea. I know Rad has mentioned more then once he wants to have his character be NPC'd somewhere

What about those people who went OOC before the switch?

No reward, unless you plan to get a character and start roleplaying before the turnover

If they are NPC'd will we be able to interact with them? Also, will the certain ones that are NPC'd be of any kind of importance. Like if I ran into Rad wherever he is NPC'd will I know he is Raditz the Saiyan from Rag Black? If they are important will it be only to CHUBBS history or will a few be kinda like sensei's?

Edit: I'm technically off topic, but on the topic of what is off topic?

They'll just be hanging around. So yea, you can interact. We don't know how yet.

you should put the date of reset up on the calender or something.

btw, this is a pretty good idea you've created.

O_o I think he meant the tentative release date, ie, April 1st.

Everyone know's there's not an exactly date, sans new members. =\

Also, if, for some reason, you don't want any of these incentive-rewards, that's fine. There isn't a staffer in his/her right mind that's going to say "No, you HAVE to be stronger."

I have to say, though, that not wanting anything is a remarkably uncommon stance. It's... kinda neat.

so using your TP right now is basically moot, correct, only IC things will count towards the 'rewards'?

Also, I think this is a great idea, the whole reset thing, as far as the customs go, I've never seen an RPG actually survive with all customs, or even with just a few, since everyone's basically just going to base their customs off of something that they already know and love, IE: X-men or something.

I already know my custom...Fortune Big Grin (thanks Yammy!)

Anyway, back on topic.

So only IC things count, correct, or will we be able to keep any saved up TP for after the reset?

That isn't true. The first RPG I joined lasted - in some iteration - for over three years, and not a single player character was canon, since it was not allowed, for fear of destabilizing the gameworld. Though my character wound up doing that anyway. *Shrug*

Well, I haven't been rp'ing as long as you have, I'm sure, so I'll take your word for it. I'm totally loving the idea of keeping Chi Chi, but if I can't, I'll probably just use Chi Chi's image, maybe editted a bit, only my character will be named Fortune and will be Chi Chi's opposite, think Launch...only Chi Chi is the blue haired version and Fortune is the Blonde. How do the DA:C rewards we haven't gotten fit in?

DA:C is a saga that's taken place between the announcement and the reset.

Grandpa Gohan: all powerups are techniques. You would list Spiritken (assuming you got it within the time frame) as an earned technique.

I believe that it began before the reset. Do you mean that while people who participated in PCIII will receive their rewards after the changeover, and those that are roleplaying on their own, those that participated in DA:C will receive nothing?

No, that's not what I mean.

If it started before the announcement then it'll be another exception.

The point is, if you were in DA:C, list it as a saga you participated in. That will be your reward, just like the people who were in PC3.
