The Chubbs DBZ RPG Staff has decided to bring out a sneak preview of a part of the development of all the new things. Therefore, I am glad to be able to throw you all a bone and present to you the current list of available races.
Remember that all development is still in progress and can be changed before and after full release.
Saiya-jin
Powerful warriors with no allegiance other than to their own hereditary bloodlust. This in-born desire to find and smash anyone who would stand in their way makes these fighters formidable and intimidating foes to face head-on. Saiyans natural have an incredibly high metabolism, which gives them drastically bolstered strength and endurance, but in return they consume twice as much as the average human in order to sustain themselves. All of this, however, should be thought of as secondary next to the saiyan's natural ability to stronger with every fight. Win or lose, a saiyan's body natural grows and adapts as they continue to fight. Legends also tell of powerful saiyan transformations that grant even more power to these already amazing warriors.
Namekians
Almost the exact antithesis to the brute-like saiyans, Namekians are powerful warriors in their own rights. They live lives of tranquility and meditation, honing their spirits and minds endlessly. Namekians possess many unique traits that enhance their fighting abilities, such as stretching and regeneration. They put these abilities to use through calm analysis of an opponent's abilities as well as uncanny tactics. Namekians find themselves most "in-tune" with others of their own race, and can execute attacks with other Namekians with surgical precision. Obviously, with their monk-like devotion to mental perfection, Namekians are somewhat lack-luster when it comes to raw physical power. Additionally, Namekians require neither food nor sleep and their bodies are not accustomed to eating or drinking as other humanoids are. Although this sounds like it can be a potential problem for Namekian warriors, it is off-set by their ability to temporarily fuse with others of their own race.
Humans (Generic Races)
Unlike most other races, humans have no true defining features. They are adaptable and perseverant, allowing them to excel equally well in just about any field. As warriors, humans can, more easily than any other race, work against an opponent's weaknesses. Unlike saiyans, who rely too heavily on brute force, or Namekians who only seem to focus on their mental prowess, humans can do it all, without having to worry about any of the racial bloodlust or physical weakness of any of the other races. All other generic races like humanoid animals on earth and people from other planets fall into this category as well.
Androids
These once-human creations were originally designed by Red Ribbon as an effective way of combating all of the super powered enemies that the organization was confronted with. The resulting rebellion of these androids was something no one expected, but everyone should have expected. Having been robbed of their humanity by the twisted scientists of the Red Ribbon, the Androids slaughtered their creators and stole the technology that created them. From there they sought out other humans looking for strength and power and, soon, became a significant force. Having once been humans, an Androids knowledge of the human body is flawless and, combined with the mechanical precision with which they strike, Androids find humans easy prey. What baffles Androids, however, are the saiyan warriors they come across: beings that let such raw emotions overpower logical reasoning are outside the realm of understanding for Androinds. In spite of that, these once-humans are more than ready to take on any who would oppose them: their technological upgrades allow them to fight longer and harder than just about any other race, and the fact that they don't rely on ki makes them more difficult to track when compared to those that do. However, the delicate mental balance that is required to control both their physical and mechanical functions stunts an Android's learning abilities.
Changelings
A race of perceived nobility, a changeling could be dirt poor and still carry themselves as if they owned the world. Though changelings can be as diverse as any race, most are backhanded and conniving, plotting against everyone around them while wearing a smile on their lipless faces. Despite this known penchant for treachery, none can deny that when it comes to managing and ordering about groups of all different kinds, changelings can't be beat. They have a natural sense of leadership and can organize others with a cold efficiency. Though many don't like being ordered around by a changeling, most listen. And, as if that weren't enough, changelings can also be formidable fighters. As the name of their race might imply, changelings take their strength from their ability to change their form in order to accommodate their opponents. No one form of theirs is flawless, far from it, but with a changelings natural ability to command their teammates, and uncanny knack for analyzing enemies and scenarios, non of their forms need to be.
Arlians
A shamanistic race, Arlians come from a world torn by civil wars. Once ruled by a single king, the Arlian race erupted into chaos when the king died with no heir. The Arlians clans each claimed rights to the throne, though none had any proof to back such a claim. Soon the clans came to blows, each vying for dominance over the other in hopes of pushing one of their own into the position to rule their planet. Over the years, however, the clans found themselves at a stale-mate, each balancing the other out. And so the Arlians live, practicing their own arts. Unique to the Arlians is their ability to weave ki into the fluids produced within their bug-like bodies to create powerful concoctions. The effect of these elixers can vary from healing draughts to revive injured comrades, to poisonous vials of exploding liquids to hinder their foes. The development of these shamanistic skills, however, has come at the cost of their martial proficiency.
Tsufuru-jin
Before being completely wiped off of their home planet by the saiyans, a small group of Tsufuru managed to escape and settle on an otherwise uninhabited planet. It didn't take long for them to rebuild their lost civilization, either, as their natural capacity for technological brilliance shone. Tsufuru-jin can make use of just about anything, turning scraps of garbage into weapons or tools to aid their allies or punish their foes. Even in the middle of combat, many Tsufuru-jin can whip something together to help with the situation. This prowess, however, has come at the price of almost no martial abilities. Tsufuru-jin are almost completely incapable of fighting on their, so heavily do they depend upon their creations. That's not to say they can't be dangerous, however: they can craft powerful suits of armor to protect them and deadly dangerous weapons to combat their foes. Though their most powerful creations require time to construct, and can't be done in battle, a well-prepared Tsufuru-jin is a serious force to be reckoned with.
Reptilians
Example: Burter, Zarbon, Aqua
The Reptilians race are a humanoid form of the Reptiles found on many planets. They are warm-blooded and are capable of breathing in toxic air for a longer amount of time. They normally prefer warm temperatures. Reptilians, like humans, come in all shapes and sizes. Their thick skin gives them excellent defense in a life endangering situation, however on the flip side they lack the offensive nature many species are born with. Reptilians typically transform over time. They are asexual and breed twice in their lifetime.

We hope you will all enjoy this new information.
I also want to ask you all to look around on the net for multiple different pictures of our races, or your favorite race. These can be anything, ranging from real pictures to comics to anime to pixel art. Depending on what turns up and if I feel that it's good enough to be creative with, I might incorporate some of them into a new banner/layout which shows the "feeling" of the new diverse DBZ world we're creating.
If you already found the picture of the character you choose to become later, don't fear that someone else will be able to use that, as people who reply with pictures have the first choice to use the picture they post as their character.
