It was pretty fickin cool. Total guy movie, but even my GF enjoyed it, so that means it's quality.

He saw the movie in an Imax? Damn that nipple must've looked friggin awesome. I'm gonna cough up fifteen bucks plus gas money to go to the nearest Imax(which is located in the next state, lucky it's only a hour and forty minute drive there).

Great movie, highly recommended. It had some problems: the blue screen shooting is very apparent in some shots, the digital blood spray is sometimes hokey, and was it just me or did the narrator talk differently in shots that didn't segway from narration segments?

None of these are enough to ruin it, badass action movie all the way through.

In my opinion it doesn't. It doesn't even use the Greek pantheon. The only mythical component is the Oracle with which, yes, they take a lot of liberties with. Be more disgruntled by the historical inaccuracies if anything.
