What I meant is that a person shouldn't have to apologise for what their great great great great great grandfather did. People honestly shouldn't even care.


And I'm against the people who want to outlaw gay marriage. I don't think it is right to do so. Love is a beautiful thing, regardless of who loves who. I mean, it just shouldn't be a issue really.

I know people can beleive whatever they want. People can be against it, I mean, I understand that. It is their right to be against gay marriage. However it really isn't fair to the people who are homosexual and want to get married to the person they love.

Their love is *no* different. It is exactly the same. While reproduction isn't possible, it is still love.

If I apologize for Truman bombing Hiroshima and Nagasaki, I am obviously showing that I do not believe it should have been done, and then people cab gather my ideals form that, since whether that should have been done is very controversial and there are different stances for different reasons.

If you apologize for the Hiroshima and Nagasaki, its a purely symbolic and empty gesture. If Truman would apologize, or maybe a government official form that time, maybe it would mean something. So right off the bat, it means shit.

You aren't even an American, let alone a government official, so it isn't. You can communicate your regret in ways other than compromising your integrity.

As for reparations, show me a former slave and I'll give i to 'em. I realize its still hard to be black but throwing money at them for troubles they personally never had doesn't solve it.
