Well, Olibu probably never had to deal with an evil green alien, crazed Saiyan conquerers, wierdo minions of an evil tyrant, psychopathic androids, a nigh-invincible biological construct, or an amalgamy of pink goo.

So I think Yamcha has a little more going for him.

Olibu is, indeed, Hercules.
Somebody mentioned there is no Zeus in DBZ.
Did you consider that King Yenma could possibly be Zeus? Or Maybe the Grand Kaioshin?
Different people receive different names. i.e. The Romans and the Greeks named certain Gods with different names.
He is Hercules, but not enough is revealed to know if he really is half god or not. I would say he is, purely because not too many people can get that much more ripped than Swargennzager. Also, Tien is regarded as the most powerful Human in DBZ, as is said on Certain Official DBZ Websites. I don't know for sure if Olibu and Tien ever fight, but Olibu puts up a damned good fight against Pikkon; one that I don't think Tien could.

To say that Olibu is weak because he didn't do stuff w/ Goku is retarted. Face it, he's been in Heaven training for god knows how long. I think Akira(prob not, but w/e) was just trying to make a point to show how strong Yamcha/Krillin/Tein are, even though compared to everyone else they're quite weak.
