I have Hepatitis C, which is an STD and a less-lethal form of AIDS/HIV. I say less lethal because it doesn't kill nearly as many people, but it's still not very pleasing to have

That's like the blind guy who doesn't see himself as blind.

Think about it.

I don't know if its much of a disability, but Social Anxiety. I can't be in large crowds, and my social skills with people face to face freaks me the fuck out. I haven't been diagnosed officially by a doctor (lack of medical coverage at the time being), but I've done some serious reading up on it.

The anonomynity of the internet gives me something to not be so afraid of talking to others. Hell, the pictures I put up, those were like, a big step for me. I have this thing about my picture being taken, as well as other things, that I believe people are judging me as something less than worthy of being around, or that I am not a worthy human being, if that gives you any idea to how I feel on a 24 hour basis.

To those I keep pestering about if my work is good enough, or something, yeah, that's my head going off in a million different ways telling me that I'll never be good enough, or my work isn't really worth much.

I thought so. That's why I said I wasn't sure if it was much of one. Iunno what it would be classified as, except a mental disorder.

It's a disease, as in Sexually Transmitted Disease(jk, though it's correct).

Lets see here =o

Clinical Depression
Asthma(Though its a minor case, not as bad as when I was a kid).

I think that's it.

I have an undiagnosed condition in which I assimilate the emotions and patterns of others I am around.

Say I met Reb in person, and he was having a bad day. Even if we were exchanging niceties and all, I would be feeling extremely irate and frusterated, even if nothing was going wrong for me at that point and time. Or say I met, umm...Jeroen, and he was really depressed over the loss of a loved one. Even if he did not let on about it, and I never found out, the whole time I was with him I would be feeling a looming sadness that I could not explain, but would feel until hours after us having parted ways.

There are many theories to this. I prefer not to apply labels. It does, however, make for uncomfortable social interaction, even though it's not by far just a simple case of social anxiety. This 'condition' manifested itself when I was 17 years old and has continued being somewhat of a hindrance.

On the flip side, I am able to willingly do this when I interact with others. However, it's not just being able to feel it, as I will assimilate their feelings and actually have to go through it myself.

Does this explain why I hate dealing with hyperactive children? I get easily overwhelmed by those with excess amounts of energy.

I know what you're talking about[because its happened to me], it's supposed to be closely related to Empathy, but I don't know what'd you'd call it[I asked my therapist about it].

O.o You use assimilate so freely, I wouldn't say its 'assimilating' anything, rather people unknowingly project their feelings onto you, this is why I(and my therapist) say it either is, or is closely related to empathy.

A lot of these disorders are really ridiculous. I'm not doubting any of you people have these problems, but the fact that they actually classify individual problems and make them sound much worse then they are, really pisses me off. It's stuff like that, that makes people think they're in much worse shape then they are

I don't suffer from uncontrollable rage, I have a bad temper. I don't suffer from social anxiety, I hate people.
