Because the stuff isn't real. It's just a part of someone's personality. It's not a disorder. It's just a way to get people to THINK something is wrong with them.

Yea, you guys got problems. I don't doubt Violet is unnaturally shy in front of people. I don't doubt a lot of you are depressed or have trouble concentrating and sticking to one thing at a time. But it's not a mental disease. You arn't suffering from anything, you've just got some personailty flaws.

I used myself as examples, and they're both true

While that's mostly true, there are such things as uncontrollable rage and social anxiety. You really have to gauge how severe it is, if it's actually impacting your life in a major way then it's a mental illness. If it's just a quirk then it's a personality trait.

Like if Reb found himself in a holding cell once a month for aggravated assault, that's uncontrollable rage. Or if he couldn't leave his house because he was afraid of social situations and how people viewed him- that'd be social anxiety.

I'm over-exagering. I hate being around large groups of people. I get really nervous and it's just annoying.

But that's not a disorder, I just hate being surrounded by people.

Yes, I know. That's what I'm complaining about.

No it's not. Social anxiety is just something people have, and is more common than Social Anxiety Disorder, which entails such things as panic attacks, blacking out/fainting, agoraphobia, and anti-social behavior.

Burter is right... some of you guys are just saying stuff that or more or less dislikes than disorders.
