Can any of you shoot the tiny black circle in the middle of those squares? Cuz I can.
5 Football Fields is what we practice shooting at the Rifle Range.

I might be able to. It'd be easier if I didn't have 20/500 vision though.

Do they have you do any moving-target practice at that range?

Not many ranges do. Most of em have pop-up targets though.
200 meter target! Got it!
75 meter target! Got it!

Yes, we do moving targets at the 200 and 300 yard lines.

Stupid Marines and their better training equipment. What do we have? You know, besides greater numbers, better technical know-how, and brains.

Don't forget more money, and more family oriented.

You know whats glorious? Out of my friends Three are going to the marines, one to the army, one to the navy, two to the air force. It is very amusing to hear them rip into each other.

Yeah. There's alot of competition between the services. But when you get down to it, we're all on the same team and we all do our part to get the job done. Without Sam, I'd be out there kicking in doors and being pissed off for having to do it. Without me, he'd be constantly deployed, and no one wants that.
Except the crazy bastards. And we try to weed those types out.
I might be able to my Dad is a trick shooter and has taught me alot of stuff. If I had a .30-.30 maybe, or even a .30-.06 but only because I have been shooting them for so long. I'v also shoot a old WW2 M1 Garand that my Great Uncle used in WW2 and Korea. If I had enough practice with that I'm sure I could.
My old man though is a expert with 'cowboy action" guns mostly from the 1860's to the early 20th century some of which saw action during the war. He is by far better then me though, and I'm sure he could do it. It would take me between 3days and a week of practice but with his help I bet I could.

I have a job with a low mortality rate.
That's reward enough for me.
