Played Fallout?

I have acquired both Fallout and Fallout 2, but I'm wondering whether Fallout Tactics is a necessity. Has anybody played any of these, and is Tactics worth getting?

Tactics sucks.

Fallout 1 and 2 are the only ones in the actual 'series', and they're far better.

Fallout 1 is very short, but lots of people prefer it. I prefer Fallout 2. *Shrug*

To each their own. Good choice, though; the series rocks. It's a real shame Black Isle went bankrupt.

Doesn't mean they can't fuck Fallout up.

Still, I'm looking forward to Fallout 3. I hope it's... less like Oblivion, though.
