Ships
#1
1)Will it be possible to cause planetary damage with a ships weapons?

2)Is it possible to 'steal' (or aquire... it could always be RPed as stealing) another player's/alliance's ship? If so, how would one go about that?

1.) For roleplaying purposes, sure, minor damage is okay. Nothing major like blowing huge chunks out of a planet, wiping out continents, or going Grazer 1 on somebody from space. Expect planets to have strong defenses against "invading ships."

2.) At the moment, no.

Those with ships. Will we be able to still use them after turnover?

Currently, I'd say that the ships will probably play a part in the turnover saga (undecided) but I don't believe we are going to use them after the turnover. Any remaining may still be out there as "NPC ships" of a sort, meaning you might see "The Tempest" as a large scale ship under the ownership of someone else who may have purchased it over the timeskip, but I do not as of this moment know exactly what we'll be doing about ships. Most likely they will not be under player control

Will we be compensated for our ships? Because God were they expensive.

Pardon me for speaking where an admin should, and not to be offensive, but i believe everybody is losing everything in the turnover. Whether it is the 700 (i think) zenie that I have, or the wads of cash you paid for the ship. There is the thread at the top of the "Questions (About the Turnaround)" stating there's no exceptions for anybody. Not even for those who pissed away loads of z on ships.

At least, that's how I see it.

Personally, I believe that ships should still be under player control, just more restrictions on them, such as one per alliance/person. Contradicting this, I believe that there should be a fleet system, where an alliance or group can own multiple ships and fly them as a fleet. However, restrictions would still be one ship per member of the alliance and the fleet leader would have to have a ship larger than all of his fleet members.

Well....isn't one of the reasons we're actually doing the turnover to eliminate advantages that some people have over others?

Isn't a ship kind of an advantage?

Pigero's right.

You can get a ship. By buying a new one.

Everyone's losing everything. Don't expect compensation.

Yeah, they were expensive, but it's just one angle. There are people losing Tier 2's they won't get compensated for, too.

I never said they got to keep the ships. My idea was lenient on whether they did or did not.

I don't have any idea what you just said. I'm... sorry.

If you're worried that ships won't exist after the turnover, don't be.

You'll still be able to buy them.

Let's put this out there.

I'm losing Super Saiyan 2 and a huge fucking Ship that is armed to the teeth for this turnover.

I'm getting nothing as compensation, aside from knowing that I'm losing the result of me participating in sweating my balls off for the work to get the dragonball wish for the ship, and losing all the hard work I did during Friend or Foe 2, my best performance, because of this turnover.

...

And I won't even skip a beat, nor look back, nor think twice of it, b/c what is in store for me is more than worth it.

What's in store for you? Do you mean that as a whole or just you?

Probably on a whole. New opportunities, power ups, being able to actually use the stats in sagas.

I guess it is a little personal too, I couldn't see playing the same character for ~8years and it not get stale. Even authors get tired of writing about a certain character(s) after awhile.

Telling someone to stop spamming is considered spam? Remember the 'P' in spam stands for pointless.
