The 2-week MIA rule is scripted. It might be an easy change, it might be a hard change, or we might not even have access to make any changes to it. Additionally, we have to keep in mind, at least in the back of our heads, that Turnover may never happen. We've said this before. We're going to continue running things as though there will be no changes. The only advice I can give is that members do the same.

I just feel some of you neglect your duties. I can't remember the last time I was updated without bumping a thread. I even bumped a thread 3 times before. That's a total of nine days without a staff attending to the update. So that's where my problem with staff lies. Get stuff done quicker. Don't wait for a member to bump a thread.

A reply to PM's would be nice too. I know which staff members I'm on about.

I'm already fairly lenient with deactivating people. Sometimes their MIA status isn't even posted until their date should have already been up, or I'll put everyone under the farthest date out. When people ask for extensions, I'll usually give it to them if they can provide a good reason.

I understand we can't please everyone. And for those people who arn't pleased by us, I can point you in the direction of the door. If you think you can get over it, then please stay and try to enjoy yourselves.

What is meant by that is that of course you are allowed to (after you've become an established member) say "Eh, I'm not really up for that" and let it go, but some people tend to immediately join the site, a week later go "I don't like your stat system, can we change it to THIS" and then others tend to be like "So if I were to attack Rad with ____ what would happen?" "Rad would kill you." "Ok, but what if I were using ____ in conjuction, thus creating an overly powerful energy wave?" "Rad would still kill you." "I see what you are saying, but hear me out. What if I used it and shot him in the crotch as opposed to anywhere else?" "Anywhere you shoot him, if it still hits him, you will still die." "What about the tail? That's the Saiyan weakness!"

That sort of thing is when I stop responding to your questions, to be honest.

BY THE WAY, ALL EXAMPLES UP HERE ARE FUCKING MADE UP ON THE SPOT. I DON'T WANT ANYONE PMING ME BITCHING ABOUT HOW OFFENDED THEY ARE BECAUSE I PUT THEM ON THE SPOT AGAIN. Its off the top of my head, and if you seriously happen to have something similar, despite me having people in mind, it wasn't what is intended. I have to partially agree with Balloffire. Allthough we do see quite a few stupid posts and complaints, these usually come from people who had come recently and have also rather quickly left. I think the more stable members are more or less respectful towards staff and appretiate their work. Sure, we do sometimes make suggestions and we do sometimes do give arguments for our suggestions, but that`s far from "bitching".
