lol dude you just made my day lol. But yea, isn't DB and DBZ just based off of an old chinese/japanese(i don't know which one) legend of a boy with a tail?

Yeah, Goku is based on a Chinese legend of a monkey boy. As is typical for animes of such type, both DB and DBZ includes a lot of refferences. An example of this is that Saiyans are named after vegetables.

He did want to end it at the Frieza, he even made a statement to it about the press but he's wife convinced him to continue.

That doesn't answer my question.

He foreshadowed like nuts with that thing with Gohan. He even had Gohan open up a can of whoopass on final form Freiza.

Anywho, I'll keep this short and simple; if Akira is working on it, then I have faith in it.

By the way, Yu Yu Hakusho > Dragon Ball/Z/GT in my opinion. You may argue for or against it, but either way, I won't really care >.>

Personally, I think he ment for Gohan to have sort of a talent which he had thanks to his father. I don`t think he ment it to be a specific power-up or anything as such. I guess he developed it later on.

EDIT: And btw, the main protagonists of Dragonball are based off the main characters of the traditional Chinese novel Journey to the West.

Yeh, I know it's all chinese/japanese foundations, but I mean with a more intricate and meaningful plot then just, "Oh no, he got killed. Let's find them balls and wish him back." A little more gore would be cool too, but if he's aiming for a younger viewers base, then that's a different thing altogether.

I dunno. All I know is that Gohan was crap in the Buu Saga.

Mystic Gohan was a god for what.. one full episode? Then he was obsolete. They had like twenty episodes of him getting ready only to be worthless after one episode. -_-

But there were various points where he had strength GREATER then his father's maximum strength purely because he was enraged. The fight with Raditz, and the fight with Freiza immediately jump to mind.

Goku would have beaten Frieza at that point of time had he been fighting, hands down. He was almost even with the power of Final Form Frieza at that point. Especially with Kaioken.


Gohan did have power. But.. I think he was simply meant to be a second generation hero. Like, the person supposed to take over Goku's spot when he wasn't there.

Wait...wtf are you talking about?

Goku was 1/10th of Freiza's power even with Kaio-ken before he went SSj
