Is normal form Goku any match for Final Form Freiza?

I say no, Akane says yes. Our reasons differ greatly. She claims Final Form Freiza only constitutes the 1% of power he showed during the anime which puts him at par with Goku and thus gives Goku a chance at victory. I feel that final form Freiza includes any power level he can manage before his muscle mass increases. This would allow him roughly 80% of his full power, and thus he would stomp Goku flat.

Also, let it be said that Akane claims this was not the topic at all and refuses to post here. (which I find a bit silly, myself.)

No, the fight was like 60/40 in favor of Frieza and on top of that Goku was using Kaio-Ken x10 at the time.

I may be wrong, but I don't think Frieza said 1%. I think he said he had five shares of power and was only using one share, not one percent. That's what I remember at least.

Official Power Levels says yes:

Son Goku - 3,300,000

That's base with no Kaioken

Freeza - 6,000,000 (50%) That's him at Final Form 50% half of that is 3,000,000

So yeah, he could. Only at 1%

Son Goku [Kaioken x20] - 6,600,000

Freeza - 6,000,000 (50%)
Freeza - 8,400,000 (70%)
Freeza - 12,000,000 (100%)

Freeza - 10,000,000 (Battle Worn)

Super Goku - 11,500,000

=P

Those are from the offical guides, there are some debate that SSJ Goku was 15,000,000 or 11,500,000 but Akira wrote those, and stopped after the Trunks saga.

Super Saiyan only offers...a power level boost of like...x 3? Not even?

Wtf. My dreams are shattered. But yeah, wtf, it totally doesn't seem that way in some of the fights.

And I could have sworn Freiza said 1%.

Also, didn't Goku use like...Kaioken X 2 or something to double his strength to match Vegeta in the Saiyan Saga? Now X 20 only doubles it as well? wtf's that?

Wait...? That doesn't make sense to me...Frieza was never stronger then SSJ Goku. In the manga goku overpowered Frieza completly effortlessly after going SSJ, they changed it slightly in the anime though to make Frieza put up somewhat more of a fight against Goku to make for more intresting TV. I mean I know those are offical, but I do NOT remember Frieza ever being stronger then SSJ Goku.

I remember Zarbon or Dodoria saying Vegeta's best power level was like...18,000. And Goku's power level was 'over 9000' to use the famous quote. So yeah, he used Kaio-ken X 2 or something to double his power level, and now X 20 is double as well?

That makes no friggin' sense.

Gawd. I knew I promised I wouldn't post here.. but.. just to say this.

Goku's powerlevel was 180,000 after arriving on Namek. That's what Ginyu says. From the x100 gravity. I'm not here for the argument.. but.. just for information. Goku was over 9,000 in the Saiyan Saga as base.

Hey, I didn't make these, I just got them from Akari's stuff. And like DID state, "there are some debate that SSJ Goku was 15,000,000 or 11,500,000 but Akira wrote those, and stopped after the Trunks saga."

I assume that's '70%' Freiza?

and what about the 'power shares' referenced by Tapion if it wasn't percent? This is some messed up math.

I would suspect that, at the 6,000,000 mark, Frieza actually said he was at 50%. That automatically determines his max power level. However, that doesn't mean he ever makes it to his max in the show/manga. He probably couldn't hit his max after getting owned so hard by Goku, making his 12,000,000 max powerlevel only theoretical.

Yeah, I'm starting to wonder if these stats were made while Akira was making the series, or if he just tossed them out later for the nerds.

He has a problem with his own canon and memory. Hell, he totally forgot about Launch for the majority of DBZ despite her almost constant appearances in DB, and he admits it.

That doesn't make much sense Tom. Kaio-Ken multiplies Power Level by the Tier, so x20 would multiply his Power Level by, literally, x20, not x2. However, we've already gone through this quarrel countless times, your Manga stats vs my Anime stats, grrr =P.

Anime Power Levels
Goku: 300,000
Goku[Kaio-Ken x10]: 3,000,000
Goku[Kaio-Ken x20]: 6,000,000
Goku[Super Saiyan]: 15,000,000

Frieza: 530,000
Frieza[Form 2]: 1,000,000
Frieza[Form 3]: 2,500,000
Frieza[Form 4 25%]: 4,000,000
Frieza[Form 4 50%]: 6,000,000
Frieza[Form 4 70%]: 8,400,000
Frieza[Form 4 100%]: 12,000,000

My personal opinion is when furiza lost his tail he lost his plot armor. Only until getting an artificial one could he return. No plot armor can save you from the SSJ sword save teh hotness.
