Warren Peace
Retane, Tapion
Retane and Tapion walked side by side in silence, heading into a break from the thick jungle brush into a wide open plain. The two had already been through an encounter, and given the latest announcement from Karl Jak, they were the only ones who had got the job done.
Tap raised a hand to Retane's chest and stopped him. Sitting on a rock, relaxed and calm, was an asian human looking at them quietly. His gaze was cutting, and even the serial killer Retane shivered from the creepiness.
Warren Peace stood up, holding a small branch he had picked up. Without any words, he moved towards the two fighters, ready to fight.
Retane raised up his gun and suddenly opened fire before the human could react. Warren did move to the side, dodging a couple over-sized nails, but one cut him into the cut, slowing him down for another to jab him into the chest.
As the human hit the ground, Tapion threw one of his objects at him. "This is almost too easy," he commented.
Warren grunted at the surprise. His eyes blurred. This was not how this game was murder was supposed to end up. He carefully raised, and then turned to see...the grenade.
And it was over.

Sazuaa lay motionless on the hard rocky ground. Several hours had past since his battle with Vegeta, prince of the Saiyans, and his near fatal drop from the cliffs edge, hours which were lost to the unconscious non-transformer.
"Uhh..." An almost inaudible groan left the blonde haired aliens lips as he slowly regained consciousness. Using all the strength he had left in his battered body the alien managed to turn over onto his back. Rain poured down hectically upon the blue skinned warrior as he warily opened his eyes and squinted up at the sky. It didn't take long for him to realise he had been out for some time.
?Arrh?? The red eyed alien winced in pain as he leaned forward to sit upright. Blood slowly began to trickle from his forehead down his face. He was hurt, and not just something he could shake off either, this was serious. The worst of his injuries was his left arm, which had took most of the impact of the fall and was pretty badly broken, rendering it pretty much useless. As the non-transformer looked back up at cliff and saw just how far he fell, he wasn?t surprised at the injuries he received, if anything he was surprised to still be alive.
"AHHHH!" Sazuaa roared at the top of his lungs in a mixture of agony and anger.
Things had not went to plan to say the least, and now he was left, barely able to move in the middle of a battlefield filled with fighters in every direction who would have absolutely no qualms about finishing him off with ruthless efficiency.
?Fuck!? Sazuaa mumbled to himself. He knew he couldn?t stay where he was, it would only be a matter of time before someone spotted him laying out in the open like a sitting duck, and as soon as that happened it would be all over.
With a groan Sazuaa sluggishly manoeuvred his body around, and using his right arm he propelled himself up, shifting his weight onto his legs. His memory was alittle foggy, but he recalled a place on the map that would be ideal for him to lay low for awhile and try and recover some strength. Clutching onto his left arm gently, Sazuaa limped off towards his new destination.

Bra was very rudely dumped onto the island without so much as a ?good luck.? Even worse, she was standing ankle-deep in the mud, and her pack sat in the sludge next to her. Blowing her hair out of her face in her best ?fuck-off-and-die? expression, the princess hefted the weighty bag out of the muck and threw one strap over her shoulder.
Turning on her heel, Bra leapt out of the mud and skidded across a dry patch of grass. Wiping the disgusting material from her heels, the cyan haired girl marched ahead, through a thick patch of tall grass, totally unsure of which direction she was heading in, much less what was ahead of her.
Rummaging through her pack, the halfling pulled out her weapon. This, of course, caused her to raise an eyebrow. Tilting her head, she looked at the strange item, trying to figure out what exactly it did. Interestingly enough, it was quite light. At the very least, that would be fantastic for combat.
?How the fuck did I end up here?? she asked her weapon, stuffing it between her skirt and her belt. ?Why am I even here this time? Exosus - she?s this... it?s complicated - but she wants me to win. I?m not even sure why. It?s like... I guess I never seem to know what?s going on anymore. You, you?re just designed to kill. You?ll always know what to do, I guess. Just as long as somebody tells you to do it...?
Folding her arms across her chest, she strolled up over a hill and between a pair of massive oak trees, crunching over the golden leaves beneath her boots. It was funny; each and every year she failed to realize just how much she took her reliance on flight for granted. Instead of rocketing to and fro, she was subjected to walking around like a common plebeian.
Trudging over the suddenly rocky terrain, Bra soured over her lost abilities, knowing she would only be fortunate enough to retain the two she had selected in advance; a testament to the technological sorcery wrought by the administration overseeing the Dante?s Abyss competition.
A cool breeze gushed over the wavy grass, tugging at the heiress? clothing and playing with her long, silken hair. A handful of rain droplets, and then a light rain fell down, cascading over everything beneath.
?Just great.? the demi saiyan muttered, hugging herself tighter as her breath escaped in a misty vapor. She hoped she was walking out of the storm, rather than into it. Not that it mattered. It was just as well; at least rain wasn?t the worst thing that could happen to her.
A rabbit skittered across the grass in front of her, rushing into the bushes and out of sight, and startling the cyan haired girl. She stumbled back before regaining her composure, and shook her head to clear her mind.
?Got to... calm down. Stay calm, fight smart...?
The light shower suddenly turned into a torrential downpour.
?Oh-! Fuck off!!?
"I wasted time and now time doth waste me."
"I just made you up to hurt myself, and it worked."

Scattered ramblings from the lobby echoed off the ceilings. People were glued to monitors, money was being tossed all over tables. Glasses clanked together while things were shouted and laughs soared across everything.
Different races and species all clammered around video monitors to catch the latest replays from the last fights. Some cameras caught fighters running through the early morning rainstorm. More money was tossed down, more glasses clanked together. Someone was greedily counting all his money.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A wrinkled hand shielded and even wrinklier face from the incoming torrential barrage of droplet shaped bombs of water. Kami hadn't seen it rain this hard in a good long while, and he had seen some crazy rain on Planet Namek. He thought he could make out some shelter up ahead and decided to head there. It could possibly give him some advantage on any incoming opponents and this made him happy.
The solid door creaked open with relative ease and although it shut with a bit more effort. The never ending sound of angry rain found itself reduced to a light slap against the side of the building. Kami wiped the beads of water off his face and pulled off his cloak to try and dry it off a little bit. He rummaged through a couple of boxes nearby to try and find anything useful. He found a small lantern, which appeared to be in working order and so he did his best to light it up. Fortunately there were some matches nearby. The room light up with a soft glow and Kami was careful to make sure his little light couldn't be seen. He found a tiny bit of food inside one box, and a blanket in another. It started to become apparent that people had once spent some time here, that or it had been stocked for entertainment purposes.
A squeak came from under the nearby stairs. Kami's ears perked up right away and he slowly turned his head, the lantern casting an eerie glow across the room. As the flame danced around on the wick inside the lantern it sent light hopping from one corner to another. Kami slowly raised the lantern as hea heard the squeak again. As the light launched intself in the direction of the noise he saw the tail of a rat scurrying away. A small bag if grains had a hole in one corner and the insides of the bag trickled off into the shadows.
He sent the lantern back down and went through the supplies some more. He tucked the blanket into his bag, along with the small amount of food he'd found and decided to make his way up the stairs. He quietly started working his way up, being careful to not make his presence known to any other beings who could possibly be in the area. The rain still relentlessly beat against the side of the structure as Kami made his way up the stairs. Finding a flat spot he paused. He could see out across the landscape he had previously been running across. With a twist of a knob the lantern shut off and Kami looked out at the rain that roared down from above.

Kakarot
Raditzu
Grandpa Gohan
Gramps remained quiet as he watched the visitor come in through the front entrance of the school. He was in an upstairs office, relaxed on a chair and watching from the window. It was the first visitor he had seen since he took up residence there not too long ago. Of course it was obvious people wanted to come inside...it was raining.
He stepped out to meet the skinny fighter, cracking his knuckles. As he walked out of the office, however, something touched him.
A string wrapped around his neck...once, twice and finally stopped with a thud against his adam's apple. The choking got aggressive, cutting off his circulation. The old man fell to his knees.
It wasn't a fun way to fade off, but Gramps was unable to escape the deathlock the string had on him. Someone had thrown the object and let it wrap around him, obviously sneaking up on him.
The body dropped finally after being unable to hold anymore.
That was when Kakarot appeared from the stairwell, walking into see a familar figure standing above the elderly corpse. He took a moment to take in the sight. "...Did you just kill an old guy with a Yo-Yo?"
Raditzu yo-yo'd the toy back up to his hand. "Just when you thought this game couldn't get any cooler, I go and top the whole show with this," he grinned. "Hey there, Goku."
"It's Kakarot now," the saiyan corrected. It was a story better left untold.
"I'd ask why," Rad pocketed the Yo-Yo and moved into a fighting stance. "But I really don't care."
The smaller of the two brothers moved into a defensive stance, ready for a tough fight. He kept his flamethrower at his side, now knowing what it could do and how much it could ruin a fight. "Then let's have some real fun."
Rad's power level began to rise immediately. Kakarot immediately backed up as a flash of golden light erupted from his brother. Power and ki energy caused a lot of the walls to crack and almost give way. It was pretty clear that Raditzu didn't want just a normal fight. He wanted a super saiyan fight.
And Kakarot was ready to oblige. He grinned. Now THIS was gonna be fun. With one quick "HA!" his appearance changed to match his brother's. Clear aura turned gold, hair glowing bright yellow and eyes shifting to a sudden teal. The school probably couldn't take much more of the pressure, with a lot of the walls and roof starting to cave.
"Now..." Rad began, "Let's make good TV!" And with that comment out of the way, he lept forward and flurried his fists like lightning, with Kakarot catching every single one. Rad got the upper hand, however, when he lept up and roundhouse kick'd his brother in the head. The man who formally went by Goku flew sideways, spinning enough to regain composure.
Raditzu jumped forward again, but Kak ducked the punch and uppercutted his sibling in the chest, hurling him upwards. The punch sent the long-haired saiyan into the air, smashing into the ceiling and through it. With one big leap, Kakarot followed up onto the rained-down roof.
The superpowered kung fu melee continued under the rainy sky, on top of the top three-story building. Betting odds soared. Ratings rocketed. Almost every viewer was watching this showdown between brothers. It was a beautiful sight, with the grey sky and the barely visible sun peeking to see two glowing warriors battle on top of a three-story building.
But it wasn't a fight of vengeance, or power, or anger, or hatred. There was no motive other then both of them loved to fight. That was it. Their insatiable hunger for a great brawl was all that kept them going.
A good thirty minutes of going back and forth left both of them (and the building) as a complete wreck. The roof had been clipped to almost nothing, though the rest of the building stood. Rad and Kakarot both had spots of blood and cuts, but nothing serious. It was clear, though, just by looking at the torn clothing, that Raditzu had the advantage.
That was when Kakarot transformed back to his normal form and backed up. Rad had to stop his attack and land on the roof in order to halt the clash of the titans. "Hey," he whined, "What gives?"
"It's only day one," Kakarot grinned, "Don't you think it'd be lame if one of us died before we could do real damage?"
"Well..." Rad reflected, "I guess it would be kinda lame not to be able to kill you in the finale."
"I'm just sayin for you sake," Kakarot explained, "Cause I was totally kicking your ass."
Raditzu transformed back to normal as well. "Oh, yea. Sure you were, Goku."
The man's smile changed again just as he moved to the hole in the roof. "It's Kakarot," he corrected. "And you better not die before I kick your ass again."
As Kak disappeared into the school, thousands of betting viewers went bankrupt because the match ended in a draw.

Wandering aimlessly through the woods, the Konat had found himself a bit of sport to occupy his time while he awaited his first battle. He had crossed a hare, or some other sort of small rodent with especially noticeable ears. Hiding immediately, he had taken enjoyment out of silently stalking his prey. It had been over six hours he had been on this island, and all he accomplished could be seen in the small body of an off-white rabbit. While the early results were disappointing to the prince, alas he found himself hungry, and craving meat. The small animal, which Minoshia had comically nicknamed ?Syphilis?, had come to a momentary halt next to the bush that was currently occupied by the hunter himself. He was invisible to the naked eye, and he was becoming increasingly suspicious that this animal was either blind, or mentally disabled. Either way, it was all the better for him. Leaping out of the bush, he managed to wrap one hand completely around the ears of the hare as it tried to dart off into the wilderness. Jerking it back towards him, Minoshia snapped its adorable little neck, using his teeth to gash open it?s side and drink the blood of his pet store victim.
The meat had been slightly raw, so after some slow cooking and good eating, the prince found himself incredibly lethargic. But the remains of the slain rabbit excited him in a way that forced him off the ground, and sent him darting aimlessly into the wilderness, searching for some larger game. Like a warrior perhaps, or maybe just a deer. At this point in time the dark child himself probably had no idea what he searched for. He realized two things, if it breathed it was living, if it was living it could be killed. He just wanted to be the one to kill it, before anything else could.
As he wandered aimlessly, he began to notice an odd silver streak sliding down the vision in his left eye. It seemed all too familiar from adventures past, but he couldn?t put his finger on which group it was he had been slaughtering at the time.
As the streak proceeded to slide down his vision, he noticed something else entirely was bothering him. It was a stench, something reeked horribly, and he was spinning in circles looking for the source, but could find nothing. It was coming in pulses; they intensified slowly over time, angering the Konat exponentially. Slowly developing, a noise began to pulse in his head coinciding with the pulsing of the smell. Nothing rational could solve the problem, so he quickly resorted to other methods. The child of prophecy grabbed his skull and began shaking his cranium wildly, digging his fingernails into his skull, letting his head bleed out the misery.
Why won?t it stop! What the fuck is this! Minoshia sprinted towards the nearest tree, grabbing onto the trunk and slamming his skull against the hard bark. Nothing he did made the slightest difference, so he naturally deducted that it wasn?t him at all that was the origin of the problem. ?We? We must find it? We Must destroy it?The Konat?s eyes were wide with a fiery hatred as the words buzzed in his head, his demons speaking to him, urging him to take action. This time he set out with a purpose, blood dripping from the sides of his skull and dripping off his chin, a purpose to destroy, to kill, to inflict sheer misery.

?Let?s start moving?? the low grumble of the namekian?s voice cut into Tapion?s consciousness like a syringe through freshly sterilized flesh. For the first time in minutes the non-transformer?s gaze peeled itself away from the blood stained earth and disembodied android at his feet, and redirected itself into the two stone gazed irises of his emerald fleshed accomplice. His eyes were cold, seemingly indifferent of the acts of cruelty their owner had committed only moments ago.
It was a look Tapion had unfortunately found all too familiar?the eyes of a murderer, the kind of man whose pleasure elicits itself only from the sensation of a fresh kill. Just like Mino's. Suddenly with that faint memory a flood of thoughts barreled their way into the Konat?s mind. Stroking at small invisible whiskers upon his chin Tapion couldn?t help but wonder what would happen if his path were to intersect with Minoshia?s, as if either planned on achieving victory today, it inevitably would.
?You commin'...? Retane once again interjected his voice between crimson haired warrior and his thoughts. Tossing his ?now slightly heavier- duffle bag over his shoulder Tapion walked the few steps over towards his partner. With a slight nod of his head, the namekian pushed forward through the thick brush of trees and bushes, moving quickly, but stealthfully onward.
Unfortunately, the duo didn?t get much time to enjoy their little stroll through the boscage though. Within barely a few minutes of taking off, a small frame, humanoid in shape, came into Tapion?s peripherals through the dense jungle terrain. With great haste the non-transformer quickly placed him hand onto the chest of his namekian ally brining his movement to a quick halt.
Without any further directions needed the battle tested assassin instinctively pulled his trusted nail gun up to his chest level and began unloading a barrage of hazardous metal spikes in the direction of the newly discovered foe. Although his reactions were fast, his speed lacked and a large nail quickly lodged itself into the Asian man?s left leg.
Unhesitatingly taking full advantage of the situation he now saw arising, Tapion shuffled with his still blood stained hands as quickly as they would move through his now wide open bag of goodies. Pulling out a small gun-black metal orb then unhinging a tiny clip from the device the non-transformer took aim and fired.
BAM!

Pikkon clutched his bruised face, ?Fucking spice, where did he come from,? the green warrior thought to himself. Wiping away a small trickle of blood from above his eye he began to wonder what his next move would be. He thought it was about time he got some allies in this game, that quick battle with Spice was fun and all but could have been handled much easier if he had a little backup.
Folding up his favourite shopping bag, Pikkon placed it in his pocket. Then grabbing his duffel bag from behind a counter, he wiped if clean having been covered in dust from when it went flying as the earlier encounter had began. Unzipping the bag he pulled out a piece of bread, pulling up a chair to the counter the green warrior took a few minutes to have some food as to recover a little from that last battle.
Finishing the bread, he then found his water container in the duffel bag, taking two long swigs and finishing the bottle. Knowing that supplies where low he filled the water bottle up again, at the tap over the counter. The water helped his small headache and he now felt ready to continue with his journey.
Standing up he made sure everything was packed sturdy in the bag and then swung it over his shoulder. The sun had started to rise and it brought a comforting feeling to the green warrior as he stepped outside into the small deserted town.
Rain poured down from the heavens, it was relentless and there was an eerie feeling in the air. A slight smell of death wisped past the green warriors nose. The night had not been kind and he knew that people had fallen.
Taking a glance at dark sky Pikkon smiled, knowing that it would not be long until he had his first taste of real bloodshed in this game of survival. He then shot of in a jog with both compass and map in hand; he needed to find allies. He needed to find people he could trust if he was to survive any longer in this game.
As he ran following the map and periodically glancing at the compass he suddenly stopped. His scouter burst into life, beeping madly. Ahead he knew there where strong warrior?s, but where the friend or foe?
?Only one-way to find out,? he said to himself as he continued walking closer towards the unseen contestants.

With a full scale hangover and sunburn to boot the large blonde took one step forward and two steps backward, all the while attempting to gain some ground. It was sure to him that he had had too much to drink the night before, and that in his weakened state he could be picked off at any moment. Reluctantly he continued to strive forward instead of sleeping his hangover off. He knew that he couldn?t stay in one place for too long, however his effort where in vein.
Somehow, someway he had managed to pass the same body of water twice, he was going in circles. And has he found himself in the middle of the forest he had started in he decided he couldn?t venture forward, he?d have to settle down. Just as he came to this conclusion his ears warned him of another?s presence.
?Uhh..?
Ducking down, a little too fast for his hangover to handle, Olibu plopped upon his bottom; nevertheless he was hidden. Parting the shrub he hid behind he was able to gaze at the being, it was a small opponent, someone who looked as though they had already been knocked silly. His body was pressed up against a tree, with his feet flailing in the air and his head planted against the ground.
Olibu shook his head and revealed himself to the dazed and confused being. Had it of been anyone else, the boy would have never awoken from his slumber, it seemed he was in good graces to of met with Olibu.
?Here, drink this? Olibu spoke ever so softly as he offered his canteen to the child. Alarmed by a voice the boy jumped to his feet, backing away.
?It?s okay, I won?t hurt you. My name?s Olibu.?

The early morning night's moon was still hanging in the sky as Reijin walked, his cool breath entering and releasing from his lungs. Each step gave a moist sound beneath his boots as a small forewarning of incoming rain. The moon was slowly moving lower in the sky with every step, and soon Reijin found that it had lowered enough to nearly touch the bloody arena.
The moment he realized the moon had finally touched the mountains in the far distance, Reijin's ears picked up the sound of conflict from nearby. "Seems like someone is a bit excited," he mumbled. He tightened his gloves and then slowly crept through the grassy field towards the noise, to see if he could possibly gain some advantage or free kill on a wounded target.
He finally stepped out from behind a large rock to see a man breathing heavily at the edge of a cliff. The man growled irritably as he clutched what appeared to be a broken wrist close to his chest. The young Saiyan prepared himself to rush the man, to take him over the edge of the cliff until he suddenly recognized the man's profile as he turned around.
Two sets of eyes met each other, and the two took the other in. "...Reijin?"
The man before him was his former ally, the former Prince of all Saiyans, his former best friend. Vejita. His face showed no expression aside from his eyes tightening a bit. "Hello, Vejita," he returned.
A pair of minds flickered back to the last time the two had seen one another. Reijin and Vejita could both remember every single painful detail. Reijin had tied Vejita down, using his Pyrokinesis ability to slowly sear the flesh from his best friend's bones from top to bottom, making sure that the entire event was as slow and as painful as he could make it. He hadn't enjoyed it, at all, but he had a point to make. That point was that he was not pleased with Vejita's most recent decisions. At all.
By the way that Vejita's eyes tensed as well, Reijin could see that he was reliving the encounter as well. The result was inevitable, and the two of them knew it was coming. It was just a question of which of them moved first.
FLASH!
Two forms slammed into each other at a speed that would have destroyed the irises of any weaker fighter simply due to the stress of attempting to catch each frame of movement. To the more trained mind, one would have seen Reijin move first, darting into his friend's personal space in an attempt to throw him over the edge, but he flashed through empty space as the Saiyan Prince quickly sidestepped the incoming onslaught, twisting in hopes of hitting Reijin from behind and adding to his momentum to take him over the side instead.
As soon as Reijin realized the Prince had moved, he leapt into the air in a back flip, his body fluidly twisting perfectly over the arcing arm with a perfection called forth by strict coreography. He landed as the arm went past him harmlessly and struck out quickly with a tight fist, catching Vejita directly in the gut. The Saiyan growled and his muscles tightened, repelling the other warrior's fist as he then threw his own punch... with his injured fist.
His howl was unearthly, and a crash of lightning brought about the morning dawn with a thundering entrance. The Prince was obviously in pain, but Reijin had already initiated conflict. He stepped back, and kneeled down into position to follow up on the opportunity. The other fighter attempted to fight back his pain and tightened his fists once more but only for a brief moment before pain forced them open again. His struggle had changed focus inwardly, and Reijin now felt like a simple executioner rather than fighter.
It was then that the rain began to fall, Reijin eyeing his friend with the morning light breaking behind him. "You never answered me before," he growled at the man before him. "Why did you do what you did? WHY DID YOU TURN YOUR BACK ON US?"
The man glared back in equal anger, defiant and proud till the end. "If you kill me now, you will never know. Will you?" He spread his arms wide and a sickening grin spread across his face. "So do it already," he taunted.
Reijin spat as the rain clouded the ground between the two. His form relaxed slightly as he brought up a gloved arm to run through his hair and keep it a bit more in place to hold the water. "No." The word was spoken with finality. "I will not. You are a Prince. Formerly a King. Have some goddamn pride already. Act like a Saiyan!" his voice spat at the other man.
The smirk from the other man was sickening. "Then you have missed your opportunity," he laughed, suddenly darting foward towards his old friend. He struck Reijin, and nearly took him over the side, but the two fell down to the ground instead. They fought, blow for blow, until Reijin found himself forced to the edge, his head hanging faintly in the air.
Reijin knew that he could roll and throw his friend over the edge... But in order to do it, he'd have to take himself over the side. Finally, Vejita sighed as the two realized they were in a near stalemate. "Forget this," he growled, rising to his feet. The younger Saiyan's breath returned to him and his eyes carefully watched the movements of his friend, who slowly extended his good arm to help Reijin to his feet. "Come on," he spoke.
Reijin reached up and took his hand, after sensing no hostile intentions from him. He climbed to his feet, and then nodded at the other man's arm. "I can figure out some way to help you out with that if you want. I can't use my healing powers here, but I can figure out something."
The other man nodded, and they brushed themselves off, grabbing their things and beginning to walk once more.

It was morning now as the young monstrosity that is Cell Junior slept silently in the cardboard box. His knees pressed against his chest as he slowly opened his eyes as if he was awakening for the very first time within an eggshell.
"Fucking sunlight," complained CJ as the sun rays pierced that numerous holes from the one side of the box that the branches were resting in. "Damn good nap I had too!"

"Let me see Karl Jak march his behind along in this box, hopefully he's participating in this event so I can stab him with one of these branches, or give him a paper cut." Jak proceeded to announce the name of the fallen participant and as he did so, the words flew in one ear of the young monster and out the other, despite being a major announcement of the game, it didn't signify any sense of importance to CJ.

The blissful ignorance of sleep did not last long. A cold sensation swept over the unconscious saiya-jin. Countless droplets of icy water plastered the half of his body that wasn?t submerged in the fountain that was now overflowing.
He grunted once or twice, his face twitching with new awareness. But the only thing Bardock had to wake up to was pain. His chest seized for a moment?only a moment.
?Auuuuuughhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!? he roared to the clouds above, his mouth filling with rainwater. A sopping wet hand reached up and clutched the left side of his face. His skin met with a horrible burning. Reflexively, he tried opening his eyes. Only one could obey the command. A single coal pupil frantically twitched about. Bardock squeezed it shut again and screamed through clenched teeth, water dripping through his lips.
He slowly stood, stumbling, clutching his now useless eye. His boots sloshed through the fountain until the fighter was able to swing himself out of it. The screaming had died down to a mere painful breathing, as he worked to get himself under control. The fighter glanced around quickly, checking to make sure no one was still around. Sheets of silver obscured what was left of his vision. It would be best if he sought shelter.
Grabbing his abandoned bag, he raced towards the nearest building?any building. What he ended up bursting into was a mausoleum, and he slammed the door behind him. Dimly lit lights hummed overhead, proving a faint source of luminescence.
Bardock slid against a wall, breathing heavily. He gingerly took his hand off his scarred face. No blood. The flesh wounds had cauterized, but what was once a sharp pupil full of pride had dulled over in milky whiteness.
He slammed his fist into the marble floor. He wasn?t going to see out of it again.
His golden opportunity coupled with impatience had crippled him, handicapping his chances. He ran a hand through his ebony hair, spraying the surrounding area with residual moisture.
Time to rethink this.
Rest and recuperation was in order, both physically and mentally. He had all day to revise a new game plan. While his eye no longer functioned, it wouldn?t be enough to stop him.

The mercenary looked to Tapion, "He's here, you know."
The lvish warrior looked back to him knowing all to well who Retane had been talking about.
"What will you do if we meet up with him?" Retanes stare was peircing, hunting for the truth before the Konat ever spoke. He got no answer but watched the brother turn and look ahead.
"What will you do?" It was a sad and curious voice and it echoed throughout Retane's head like as if Tapion had thrown a grenade at his own head. The assassin turned away and grunted, not knowing what to say. As of right now, Minoshia had betrayed them, or at least given up on them. When they met face to face, Retane would not know what to do. The namek let out a sigh and turned back to his comrade.
"It Do not know. I have yet to hear his side of the story. But I do not know if I could get an answer from him. He's Evil... the Wraith. A heartless killer.."
"Like you..." The Konat added.
"Perhaps." Retane never missed a beat and understood the dry remark. "My job is to kill. I get paid for it. This game," he paused, thinking to himself as he spoke. "The game is to survive. To survive you must kill or be killed. That is how I live. This game resembles my life."
"And if you die?"
Retane thought aboutm the remark and smirked, "I've felt death last year in this game. I've died in real life. It does not bother me. Heaven and Hell wished to see me live and it was then that the Horsemen were born."
"You and my brother..."The elvish warrior sbegan.
"Muasaki, you, Pikkon and others as well. I was born for the Horsemen. And wth me alive, Horsemen shall live."
Tapion gave anod understanding the nobility of the assassins words. He obviously respected it and seemed to admire the loyalty of the namek and his group. Perhaps he had made a great choice.
It was then that Ret and Tasp both haulted. The sun was hidden and Retane just noticed the pouring rain. He shrugged, enjoying the dark clouds, knoiwing he didn't have to deal with the light quitre yet. He looked onward as another figure approached. Retane growled low and Tapion gave a nod watching Retane tighten his grip on his trusted weapon.
Pikkon strolled into the picture and Retane placed his gun back on his hip. Tapion gave him am curious glance and watched the two green warriors meet each other face to face. Pikkon reached his hand out and the two clasped each others wrists.
"Retane", spoke the namekian
"Pikkon", answered the jade alien.
"I know."
Pikkon gave a curious glance at the two veiwable weapons upon Retane. The renegade caught his glimpse and loosened the Charger from his forearm. He tossed it to his ally and jerked his head east.
With that, the trio were off.

Rain drops were dropping on the reptilians face, ?Huh it?s raining? I fell asleep?? He asked himself.
It was raining like hell, Raspberry got annoyed and he felt cold. He started to run in the area searching for a place where he could rest, nothing he found no place. Rasp went up too a tree sat there annoyed. The gator was getting furious about the weather, he wanted sun to the sky and no fucking rain.
?I am not getting no fighting action maybe its good maybe it?s bad...I?m not dying because of no fights, but I am not killing either. Maybe its better this way, but I have a feeling I?m getting into a fight soon hope it?s not a crazy killing machine,? The grotor-jin thought, with a feeling something bad is going to happen. But he was still relieved.
He took the water bottle from his backpack and took a large amount of the water, being really thirsty and there was nothing else to drink.
?Why water...Where?s the milk??
Raspberry just sat there doing nothing having no worries about anything, he could feel how a few drops of water fell trough the leaves on his face, it felt relaxing. He took the half empty bottle and placed it down on the ground where it was raining, just to get a bit more water. The reptile was awfully wet and he bowed down to the sky begging for sun, he hated the rain.
?I?m getting cold I might get sick, come on sun!? The alien-gator yelled and he felt something weird in his nose, ?ATSCHU!? He sneezed, with snot everywhere on the ground.
?Yuck... Well that was really unpleasant, hopefully no one is watching they might think I?m some kind of a disgusting creature.?
He looked at the snot that was on the ground and covered it with sand, he took the water bottle and went back up to the tree.
He felt alone at the moment, maybe because it was raining it came a creepy, alone feeling.
?This would be a horrible day to die, here in the rain...?

Pikkon gave a curious glance at the two viewable weapons upon Retane. The renegade caught his glimpse and loosened the Charger from his forearm. He tossed it to his ally and jerked his head east.
With that, the trio were off.
The mercenary Retane led the way, rain was still falling heavily and Pikkon lagged behind slipping over in the muddy ground as he tried to fasten his newly acquired Battle Charger.
Retane stoped and turned around ?Come on hurry up, we haven?t got all day,? he yelled out to Pikkon impatiently. Finally fastening the weapon to his arm, the green warrior straightened up and ran up to where his comrades where waiting.
?What?s the plan now?? Pikkon asked as he reached the awaiting warriors. Retane and Tapion looked at each other and then back at the new questioning ally.
?Well, I guess we will move around slowly. There has to be other contestants on this island that have not yet allied themselves with anyone else,? Retane responded glancing over at Tapion.
?Yea, they will be easier targets to take out rather than attacking other big groups,? the elvish warrior added.
?Well I guess that plan is better than no plan,? Pikkon commented looking away from his allies and into the distance.
Finally the three warriors began marching again, heading towards another unexplored area of the map, hoping to come across a lone warrior, whom?s day would soon turn from adventure to unimaginable pain.
As they walked side by side, Pikkon soon became lost in thought; he remembered the barracks. More to the point he remembered what he thought to himself in the barracks as he laid on those ridiculously uncomfortable beds. He thought about the plans that he had made inside his own mind, the plans on how he would handle himself in this game of Dante?s Abyss.
Was walking with a group a part of that plan? Was hunting other unwary warriors by way of group a part of that plan, he thought not. But at this moment it was the best plan he had, or was it?
Gazing of into the distance, the heavy rain seemed like the perfect backdrop for somebody?s death, and the urge for combat was beginning to beckon inside of the green warriors body. With his new weapon he felt invincible would these two ruthless fools have ever trusted him if they knew his real intention, he thought not.
Now while they where all alone, Pikkon knew it was time to strike. He slowed his pace down and began walking a little behind his fellow warriors. He chuckled to himself. They didn?t even know what was about to happen. Pikkon's Plan was about to unfold. What would be the end result, even he did not know.

Face to Face
Retane, Tapion
Pikkon
Beep...beep...beeeeeeep
Both Retane and Tapion halted in their strides as they heard a beeping from behind them. They each turned their heads at the same time to see Pikkon standing there, face sterm and fists clenched. His battle charger was glowing a bit in the sunrine, enhancing his abilities by two times.
The namekian was hardly a powerhouse to begin with, but the battle charger would give him an edge. An edge to do what he came to this island to do. Fight.
"What are you doing?" Retane asked, tensing a bit. "You're gonna waste the power on the--"
Before he could finish his sentence, Pikkon's superspeed helped him get close and jab Retane in the face. Oofing, Retane held his nose just as Pikkon lept up and kicked him square in the jaw, sideways, sending the namekian to the left.
Just as he hit the ground, Pikkon had to deal with Tapion swinging his bag at him. He ducked and used his enhanced power to jab the Konat in the gut, knocking the wind out of him and causing him to hack a bit. The next chop onto his back sent him to his knees, hard.
Pikkon turned his attention to the seemingly more evil of the duo. Retane was just holding his side and walking back to Pikkon for another round, growling. "What makes you think you can get away with tricking the trickster?" He asked, annoyed. "You just made a big mistake!"
The powered up warrior grinned at Retane. "We'll see."
That was when Tapion smashed the battle charger from behind, shattering his hand in the process. Pikkon's smirk faded as the power he had suddenly vanished, sparking over his arm. Retane, taking advantage, unleashed a small ki wave from his two outstrected hands.
Tapion dove to the side as Pikkon took the hit, flying backwards from range. As he moved to the ground, Tap tossed the grenade in his hand at Pikkon's body, rolling up. "Finish him!" He intructed.
"On it!" Retane was already running towards the wreckage. He lept in the air, looking at Pikkon recovering and the grenade nearby. Summoning up a small hand of ki, he aimed at the grenade. "DIIIIEEE!"
Pikkon looked up just as the energy hit the grenade.
The resulting explosion hit both of the green warriors, hurling them backwards. Where Pikkon went, neither of them saw, but Retane was caught by Tapion who wouldn't let his friend fall. "You ok?" Tap asked, "Retane?"
"What a dick," Retane coughed. Tapion laughed out loud as he set his friend down.
The two had seen the most action, and had scored the most blood. However, despite how evil they were to the viewers who watched the show, there was one thing was true. Both of them had realized it, and Pikkon had proved it.
Betrayal and deceit was all part of the game. But without at least one person to trust, it doesn't mean anything. There was no point in playing if you didn't have that one person who you knew would do right by you.
They had that one person. Fuck everybody else.

"'You better not die' he says... ha!" the downpour of rain muffled Raditzu's voice, even to himself. "That's a kid brother for... ugh..."
As the adrenaline faded from the saiyan's system he could feel the affects of the battle take their toll on his body. It took all his effort to keep himself standing, but even the powerful warrior couldn't keep his knees from buckling and his arms from falling limp at his sides. During the course of the fighting, Raditzu hadn't given any thoughts to the collar around his neck. This "recoil" from transforming was something Raditzu had experienced last year, but he had been completely unprepared for it this time. His rain-drenched clothes felt heavy, his movements seemed sluggish and, for the first time in as long as he could remember, he wished he didn't have so much god damned hair -- it weighed a ton when it was wet.
Very intentionally, Raditzu had waited atop the school for several minutes. Though he didn't really suspect Goku as the type to launch a sneak attack, there were a lot more opponents out there. When he felt he had waited long enough, Raditzu dropped through the hole that Goku had used to escape. The hallways in the highest level of the school reverberated with the sound of the rain. It was almost deafening from where Raditzu stood.
With heavy steps, Raditzu moved through the school, working his way downstairs; finding the stairs, however, had been a bit of a problem since he had gotten up to the roof via Goku's fist. His ultimate objective was to find the principal's office: the room he had killed Gohan in. The deceased competitor should have had some food and water on him, but most importantly, Raditzu had dropped his yo-yo. From the quick glimpse he had gotten of the room before attacking Gohan, it also looked like the office would be a good place to take a breather. And a place to sit down and grab a bite was sounding better with every step.

Pikkon lay helpless on the ground; his green skin covered in black scars, a result of the grenade explosion. He slowly opened his eyes, a low grown escaping from his mouth. The pain he felt was worse than he had expected to end up with.
As he attempted to sit up, he pushed on the ground with his left hand, immediately he collapsed back down onto the ground, falling back into the mud. His face tightening up Pikkon winced as he tried to move his left arm.
?Broken,? he sobbed silently.
Using his right hand to push himself up of the ground, the defeated green warrior staggered to his feet. He attempted to stand still but wobbled from side to side unable to stand up straight. His ears where ringing, that explosion was way to close for his liking.
Slowly staggering through the surrounding trees and bushes, constantly falling to either side Pikkon clutched his broken arm holding it steady. He felt lucky when he realised his duffel bag was still hanging from his shoulder, though what use would it be now? His time on this island was surely limited. After a stunt like that you expect people to come after you to finish you off.
?Bring it on!? Pikkon screamed at the top of his lungs. He then collapsed onto the muddy ground.
He slowly pulled of his duffel bag and unzipped the lock, using his good hand to go through his belongings he pulled out a container of water. He poured half of the container over the worst burnt parts of his body, screaming in agony as the water hit the surface of his skin.
Having two pieces of bread left he decided to eat one, the other, the one he found in the deserted town would be kept for later, if there was to be a later for the injured warrior.
Slowly climbing to his feet again he staggered of in an unknown direction not willing to pull out his map and compass from the bag, but preferring chance to anything else. ?Today will surely be my first and last day in this stupid competition,? he thought to himself.

The great outdoors was a place where most people would retreat to in order to find some solace from the endless agony of their everyday lives. Although he was a couple hundred times more powerful than the average person, Seventeen nevertheless shared such an ideology. Unfortunately for the android, his little escape just happened to be in the form of a forty-five man free-for-all. Despite the severity of the situation, the machine-hybrid was nevertheless in a state of glee.
This is so much better than having that emotional cow boss me around all day. The cyborg thought?triggering a smile to slowly spread across his pallid countenance. In reality, the android could be undergoing several root canals and simultaneously be subjected to an unending supply of Ashley Simpson music and that still wouldn?t be as bad as dealing with Paige and her damn hormones.
With a grin on his face, the android took a running start and leaped over a relatively small creek that was winding through the thinning patch of trees that surrounded him. Up ahead, the forest completely gave way as a jungle of asphalt and concrete took hold. The smirk that had just popped up onto the visage of the onyx-haired fighter quickly eroded as he exited the amalgamation of flora.
?Mankind always has to screw things up,? the machine-hybrid whispered beneath his breath. Feeling quite melancholy about the situation at hand, Seventeen trudged his way through the concrete landscape?winding through the networks of brick and wooden infrastructure as he quietly whispered for a quick and sudden change of scenery. After a few minutes, the cyborg let out a defeated sigh and fell against a cobalt mailbox.
?This is boring,? the android muttered. After all, his tenure in last year?s tournament had started with a vibrant bang. On the other hand, he had just spent the last six hours meandering around the landscape like a giddy boy scout. Then again?running into one of the other tournament competitors could possible yield something worse than boredom: Discomfort and bleeding.
If the last Dante?s Abyss had taught the android anything, it was that receiving injuries was a complete and total bitch. A blond-haired bitch had shot him in the stomach with a shotgun in the last competition, and because of her being such a jackass, Seventeen spent over twenty-four hours dragging his bleeding ass all over the island. The worst part about the injury was that the cyborg had sustained it from helping his friends fight against ridiculous odds.
After having to go through that hell, there was no way in hell the cyborg was going to bother teaming up en masse. Such a decision was the only method through which the android would be able to truly test his abilities and guile. Aside from that, the cyborg figured that one guy would be a lot harder to track down than six people meandering through the forest.
In the end, the bottom line was survival, because once the android was booted from the island he would have to face something more scary and intimidating than any warrior the good ole people at Dante could collect?fatherhood.
