Evan O'Dorney, the winner of the National Spelling Bee had all kinds of news coverage apparently. This kid is really smart but has no social skills:

XD
He's on natural TV, and he makes a squealing version of the shit going on inside his head. That's not an incredible tune. That's just a Hanon exercise with some ornamentation.
EDIT: I'd love to compared dick/IQ size with that kid.

I couldn't even watch the first minute of the first video.
The right to swing my fist ends where the other man's nose begins.
If I tell you I'm good, you would probably think I'm boasting, If I tell you I'm no good, You know I'm lying.

The first interview is really hard to watch. You don't know which one to feel sorry for, the kid, or the presenter.

I'd just like to point out that I knew the spelling of "scombridae", and O'dorkey didn't.
That means I'm smarter, and better-looking, and have a bigger dick.

I'd wager only the first of those three claims is anything to boast about.

You guys are complete.. jerks. To refrain myself from saying anything offensive.
It's a kid. He is very shy, so what? Plenty of people are just like him around the world, except not on in the spotlight because they didn't win a spelling contest. True, a tad bit was slightly funny, but you shouldn't make fun of him.
He's just a kid suddenly on national television and is shy.

I just couldn't stand his singing.

But Akane, if we don't make fun of him, we have to go back to making fun of Kollifum, and even HE needs a break every now and then.
Dickyness aside, I kinda see what you mean. But what's wrong with us having a little humor? It isn't really at his expense, since we're in no way connected to him or anyone that knows him (I'm assuming, anyway). It's downright hilarious.

I understand that. But do you know how many people are making fun of him right now?
It's sickening.
Edit: Granted, nobody has connections to him. But.. I just wanted to say my part. Go ahead and continue to make fun of him. I just wantd to get that off my chest, and stuff. It is funny. But so is a girl being picked on because she doesn't have the courage to say Hi the first day of school.
I have a soft spot for shy people.

But whether we do or not doesn't change the fact that he made a fool of himself on national television. For someone who can manage to think of the essence of notes as numbers, he should be able to analyze conversation with that giga-watt brain of his and figure out what are the right paths and what are the wrong paths.

I know. Which is why I'm going to stop preaching and let you guys continue. I just wanted to post my opinion.

Ok, and I hear you, I'm not trying to discredit your stance necessarily, or intimidate you into not posting, I'm just trying to defend myself against the "complete jerks" comment.

I completely understand Krillin. =).
Just wanted to post my opinion. I won't deny, it is funny. I just feel bad for him.
