I told my brother he's more useless than a Magikarp who can't evolve. Cuz it's true.

A Metapod that can't Struggle is even worse. Provided it was caught in the wild.

Unless the Magikrap (typo intended) in question is <L15.

EDIT: Or Kakuna. 'cept Kakuna is bad-ass.

I just thought that you guys would like to know: Gyarados is not techically a dragon. It's a water/flying. And the dragon type was very much underpowerd in the original Red/Blue/Yellow. With only one dragon-type attack, and the fact that it was Dragon Rage, there was no point in having a dragon attack at all.

I like Lucario's Kamehameha-esque attack.

EDIT: Actually, it's more like a Hadouken-esque attack.

Weren't dragons the only type weak to dragon attacks in those games anyways?

Yeah. And the only dragon attack was dragon rage. 40 damage. No type matching involved. Plus, you had to freaking get dragonair up to lvl 65 to evolve it into dragonite. It was not really worth it to use dragon types until they added more moves.

And Dragonite was x4 weak to ice on top of that. >>

It evolved to be WEAKER then it used to be element resistance wise.
