I never got a Mew... the only time I remember having the chance was being one of the first 500 to Toys R Us one day. I didn't go.

My fav was either Venausar or Sandshrew (when I had Blue) Tyranitar or Luiga (when I had Silver). I'm old school, as you can probably tell.

I named mine already. Haven't play anything beyond Gold/Silver though. It's really looking interesting... makes me want to get a job and buy a DS.

What's this 'abilities' thing going around now? Is it really that important/innovative?

Some of it is.

Like, some pokemon have levitate which essentially grants them immunities to ground attacks with no weakness to lightning or rock.

Others have healing abilities, stat reducers against the enemy, immunities to various effects.

Bidoof has one that doubles the effectiveness of any stat enhancing ability..or something.

Gyarados should have levitate. That way they can change him from a flying type to a dragon type.

And that'd make him WAY over powered. He'd only be weak to Dragon elements then. It'd be retarded.
