Here's something from a site I recently quit from. I would show you guys something longer, but I don't want you to be reading for hours, haha. Anyway, here goes. (Oh, by the way, I was a cop on a mafia website. This is an NPC arrest.) -
November 16, 2006 - 7:30 AM
The alarm sounded. Jimmy laid there for a few moments. He then opened his eyes to see that his whole apartment bedroom had been filled with sunlight. “Not again.” he grumbled. He sat up and put his feet on the floor and looked at the alarm clock. 7:30 AM, it said. He stood up and decided to get a shower.
Present Day - 8:14 AM
Jimmy walked shut the door to his apartment and locked it with his key. He took a sip from the styrofoam cup he held in his hand, which contained slightly sweetened coffee. He held the cup at chest height and continued down the hall to the small 5th floor lobby that contained the elevator’s. He looked at the control panel quickly and pushed on the down button. He then stepped back and looked at the numbers on the top. The elevator was currently on floor seven. Jimmy then took another sip of his coffee, his eyes still focusing on the number’s ahead. The elevator had now reached his floor. He took the cup from his mouth and stepped on to the small elevator, which no one was on. He stepped forward and pushed the button labeled ‘Lobby’ on the control panel, and stepped back.
Once the elevator had arrived at the lobby, he stepped out of it. He walked forward and threw his coffee cup into a trash bin he walked by. The apartment’s lobby was very decorative. It held couches and love seats which the tenants could come down and hang around in. He walked towards the automatic doors and they opened. He then went to his vehicle, which was parked right at the top of the parking lot. He opened the door to his car and sat inside. He left a foot out of the door as he swept over the passenger seat and grabbed his gun and a hip holster out of his glove box. “Another day closer to death.” he said as he put his holster on his belt, followed by the gun put inside of it.
Present Day - 8:28 AM
Jimmy got out of his car in the parking lot of ‘Starbucks Coffee’. He made sure he had his badge attached to the pocket of his white oxford shirt. He walked into the open door coffee shop and sat at the counter. He went to this spot almost every day. The man at the counter greeted him. “Hey, Jimmy, how’s life treating ya?” he asked. “Not any better than it is you, Matt.” Jimmy replied laughing. “Hit me up with a French Vanilla Cappuccino.” he said to Matt, the man serving the drinks. “It’s on the house.” Matt said as he grabbed a cup from the stack next to the Cappuccino machine. Jimmy pulled his cell phone out of his pocket and turned it on, then put it back in his pocket. Matt then came over and sat two cups on the counter and asked “So, Jimmy. How is the anti-crime life treating you?”. Jimmy took a drink of his cappuccino and sat it down. “Like shit. How is the coffee business treating you? Let me guess... Like shit.” he replied. Matt took a drink of his cappuccino. “You’ve got that...” Matt was interrupted by Jimmy’s cell phone ringing. Jimmy stood and put his finger up to signal Matt to be quiet.
Jimmy pulled his cell phone out of his pocket and flipped it open. “Yeah?” he asked to the person on the other line. The man on the other line seemed surprised. “Wow, finally awake. Where in the Hell were you all morning. I’ve been trying to get ahold of you since 7:00.”. Jimmy scratched his head and said “Well, I woke up at around 7:30 and left the house. I’m at Starbucks now. What do you need, Rob?” he asked the man on the other end of the phone, apparently his name being Rob. “Well, I am here at this asshole’s place. You know, the guy we have been collecting info on... Uhm, what is his name?” asked Rob. “Yeah, uh, Joey Manzanaro. That guy from the bakery.” Jimmy replied. There was a short silence. “Yeah, that’s him.” Rob said, he continued. “Get your ass over here, I think they are making a deal or something, I need you here for back up.”. Jimmy hung up his phone and turned back to Matt. “Matt, I have to run.” he said quickly and hurried out of the door. He got into his vehicle and hurriedly pulled out of the parking lot.
Present Day - 8:52 AM
Jimmy slowed down when he got into the area that the ‘Joey Manzanaro’ lived. Joey Manzanaro was a convicted sex offender and drug dealer. He got out of prison four months ago on parole. The FBI had been collecting information on him again as he was reportedly dealing drugs off of the street right after he was let out of prison. Rob and Jimmy had been inspecting the case and watching over Joey closely. Now was their chance to get him if they were going to.
Jimmy turned into the street that Joey lived on. As his vehicle crept slowly down the way he noticed Rob’s car parked on the opposite side of the street to Joey’s house. Jimmy slowed down and parked right behind Rob’s car. He then got out and walked up to Rob’s car quickly, and got inside. “Hey, you want a donut?” Rob asked as Jimmy sat down in the seat beside him. Jimmy chuckled lightly. “No, let’s get this shit over with. We’re gonna bust this punk’s ass right here and now.” Jimmy said as he pulled his Bersa Thunder out of the holster on the right side of his belt. He pulled the clip out to make sure it was loaded, as so did Rob. Jimmy opened the door and let his right leg touch the sidewalk. He looked back towards Rob again. “You ready?” he asked. Rob nodded, finishing his donut. They got out of the car and hurried to the door. Jimmy’s tie was blowing in the wind. Rob was a few feet behind him. They cocked their guns almost simultaneously and knocked on the door. A small chatter could be heard inside of the house. A few moments later a man opened up the door, the two FBI agents immediately recognized him as Joey Manzanaro, the man they were after. Jimmy kicked him in the stomach pushing him back with enough force to make him hit the wall behind him and fall to the ground. Quickly paced footsteps could be heard running up the stairway of the house. Jimmy turned to look at Rob and said “Go get that piece of shit”. As Rob ran through the living room and up the stairway Jimmy put a zip tie on Joey’s rist. He held his cocked gun to his head and said loudly “You fuckin’ move and your brains will be all over this fucking nice white wall, you hear me you shit ass?” Jimmy said to Joey. Joey just looked Jimmy in the eye and didn’t say a word. As Jimmy slowly approached the stairs a few shots were heard upstairs. “Rob, are you alright?” Jimmy yelled. He was insecure ever since the day his first partner died on the job. It was back in the early nineties and him and his partner were doing a whore bust when his partner got shot straight in the head.
Jimmy continued through the room, hearing no reply. “Rob, fuckin’ say somethin’.” he said, trying to get a reply. He slowly made his way up the stairway to see Rob shot center mass in the chest and in the arm. He was sitting against a wall, with his gun still in his hand. Jimmy put on a sad face quickly as he walked to Rob. “That son of a bitch is right around this corner in the room across the hall.” Rob said with a very soft spoken voice, almost like he was speaking with his breath. Jimmy knew he was going to die, and there was nothing he could do about it. “Get that fuckin’ piece of shit.” Rob said with his dying sentence. Jimmy got back on his feet and went over to the corner of the hall. “What the fuck are you trying to prove asshole? Backup is on it’s way. Give up and put the gun down, you are only making things worse.” Jimmy said, trying to coax the suspect down. The unknown man yelled across the hall, “Hey, fuck you, you fucking cock suckin’ cop. You wanna take me down? You’re gonna have to do it by force.” he said. Jimmy sighed. “Then that’s the way it’ll be.” he said. He turned the corner quickly to see the suspects leg barely in view. Jimmy took aim carefully and shot. The force of the bullet knocked the man on the ground. The man was now in full sight of Jimmy. He turned his head and took a few shots at Jimmy, but they missed by a slight chance. Jimmy then shot the suspect two times in the back, killing him. Jimmy ran up to the man to make sure he was dead, and then ran back down the steps. Joey was still there, trying to get himself out of the zip tie. Jimmy ran back past him and to his car. He opened the door and pulled the radio from it’s stand. “I need backup on, uhm, 372 Tower in Grove, I repeat, 372 Tower in Grove.” he said frantically. The receiver on the other end replied, “We’re already on our way, Jimbo.”. Jimmy dropped the radio and broke down a bit. Him and Rob had worked together for around 4 years. He picked the radio back up and said, “I have a man down here, get an ambulance.”.
