I watched this movie for the first time last night and I don't think I've ever been more in love with a piece of film. This movie friggin rocked me. The symbolism and the messages and the acting in it were just so totally beautiful that I just freaked out at the end.

I just kind of had to throw this out there. This is my new favorite movie.

That was probably actually one of the least surprising parts of the movie. I had a feeling that the reason behind the homophobia was his own self-consciousness about his own feelings. It was still pretty intense. I think I had the same reaction but in a more positive way. Like from "O_O" to "=O"

Yes, American Beauty is an amazing film.

Another great, moving film starring Kevin Spacey is K-PAX, if you haven't seen it you really should check it out.

I didn't realize how awesome Kevin Spacey is til now. K-PAX is really good, and Se7en is really good too, with him and Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman.
