I have a feeling this was staged, but not beacuse of the guy himself. If you noticed the music playing in the background, that music is used in the show after the first five questions have been awnsered. But given the simple nature of the question, it would have been a lot more likely that this question would have been set among the first five. The first questions are all ment to be relativly simple.
