A comparison between Kefka and the Joker is a bit unfair though given how the back story of our VI villian leaves him with insane powers where with the Joker you have someone with an actual likeness to Batman. He's a normal person (less the fact that his chemical dip changes his appearance) who uses a certain degree of technology to go about his bidding.

But seriousla. The original animated Batman and Batman Beyond were the best... at least in my opinion.

Cute hyperbole is a slippery slope: it's fun going one way, but once it's started you're fucked.

Obviously, the limitations of the character translate into the effectiveness of their role in a given plot. What puts Kefka over the Joker is that he could actually be as evil, insane, and sadistic as he wanted to be without worrying about backlash. He wasn't fighting to dominate this foes because they were already defeated, but he didn't stop because his goal was to bring an End to All Things and he had the ability to do so.

I only mention this because the blog you quoted pegged Joker as the greatest villain, if not character, of all time, which is obviously not true.

That video showed me 2 things.

1. Superman is soooo much cooler in cartoon then in the movies...imo anyways. I already knew that, but its been a while since I've seen a superman or JLA cartoon.

2. Spiderman was soooo much more corny then I remember...at least some of the things he said were lol.

But, I dont get why they compared Spiderman to Superman...it just doesnt add up. I enjoyed it though .

and in the comic (Dark Knight Returns) he mentions that he had to modify the Batmobile for riots. They even use this model in an episode of the new Batman cartoon. I can't help but think the tumbler Batmobile from batman Begins was influenced in some way by this version (but I can't really be sure of that).
