I've already talked to Rad and Burter about it, but yeah, I'm requesting a name change to Gregorz. Not leaving the site, just moving Supes over to AD to try him out with shit over there. Nothing against Chubbs, just personal preference. And I'll still be here OOC to bug the shit out of you.

Depending on how the Turnover is proceeding, Retirement might be pointless/unnecessary. If it weren't, though, I don't think Greg has been here long enough to be considered for retirement. It isn't something that goes to just anyone who's been active for a couple years and gotten lots of stuff.

That's never really been a factor either. It's a symbol of respect for what one has done for the RPG on the whole, IC being considered in an OOC light.

I'm not suggesting Subs hasn't done tons for Chubbs, I'm simply suggesting that, while he is an excellent and influential member of Chubbs, he doesn't yet possess that sort of exceptionality that retirement would signify.

That's just my opinion, anyway. I could have the idea of retirement entirely wrong. This is all just from my experience.

Anyway, I'd rather we not turn this into a debate about retirement or not. Last thread turned into that and it was a total shitstorm. If staff want to retire Supes, then okay, but I'd prefer not to go through that whole debacle again. No offense to anyone.

It doesn't really matter if he's retired or not. Even if someone else decides on a whim to play the character, it's not like that'll make me forget what Greg has done.
